Grilled Kalbi and crispy fried pork chops were ono (delicious)! Kalbi meat was tender and the Kalbi seasoning was perfect. The crispy fried pork chops was tender with a crunchy coating. It also came with a ponzu-like dipping sauce which made the pork chops even better. The rice was too hard, kind of like fried rice style. Kim Chee was good. The restaurant is in the California hotel and the service was excellent. All the staff there were really nice and so courteous. If you’re in Vegas you should try this place.

I wanted Asian in the Fremont area, and since I haven’t been to California Noodle, we decided to dine here. Service was good and the workers were all friendly.

OG Poke Nachos
I noticed looking at photos that the rice that comes with the stew had furikaki. Whew! I like plain rice with my stews so I ordered it plain. The stew was ok. The Oxtail was definitely tender. It came with 3 bones and the stew was ok. Something was missing.
The Poke Nachos were huge!!! Good portion of Poke and won ton chips. And the drizzled sauce was equally as delicious. I enjoyed every bite, and I would come back just for this.
Overall, the menu selection looks delicious, and I want to try more.

We tried the Oxtail Tail Fried Saimin, Grilled Kalbi, Poke Nachos, Salad.
Oxtail Fried Saimin was delicious and a nice size portion.
Poke Nachos was perfectly seasoned with great flavor.

We were served water and wheat flour chips with sweet and sour sauce for the table. Without asking is a plus.
The chips were the most flavorful item I had.
We ordered Shrimp Pad Thai, Hawaiian wor wonton noodle, and orange chicken.
None of the entrees we ordered had flavor.
I was very disappointed because California hotel host mainly Filipino/Pacific Islander guest. And for that reason noodle house should have a strong ethnic flavor.

We want to try this restaurant because of the reviews but turn out alright. Fried wonton is good. The noodles broth is tasty but the chicken is hard and chewy. Overall is ok.

Excellent seafood, dumplings and noodles! Service was unexpectedly good Donna was incredibly attentive and friendly without being invasive or overbearing.
I ordered the seared ahi social with scallops and shrimp. It was enough to make me want to slap somebody’s mama. Not necessarily my own, but somebody’s nonetheless!

They brought up these Munchos type chips out at first with a sweet chili sauce that was yummy.
I wish we found this place earlier in our stay. It was excellent.
And they have Tsing Tao and Sapporo!

The California Noodle House is just a superb place to eat. Set inside the California Hotel and Casino… think this is a hidden gem! I know in all the years I have lived here I have never been inside… so glad I have now. The food is awesome, very nice place.

Excellent food. The 4.1 rating definitely isn’t accurate. This place should be at least 4.6. It’s not a fancy place, but it’s clean, great service, super friendly staff, excellent food, and the price is incredibly reasonable. Huge portions. I could only finish half of my plate. Seems most of the negative reviews are from people expecting a food establishment to be something other than what it’s meant to be, which is a place to eat food.
