A truly heartwarming Japanese dining experience.
The service feels like coming home—warm, genuine, and full of care. Every visit brings a new surprise, whether it’s a seasonal special or a personal touch from the chef. The food is consistently fresh and beautifully presented, but it’s the heartfelt hospitality that makes this place unforgettable. It’s not just a meal, it’s a moment of comfort.
p.s. special birthday celebration arranged by the owner, Helen. I love to dine in Hazuki and love her more <3

Our absolute favorite sushi place. Helen makes us feel so at home and the sushi is the best by far – even better than the city. Try it for sure.

As someone that eats sushi all the time, this place ranks incredibly high. It’s become my favorite sushi place over the years. They have the highest grade fish. Always supper fresh. The rice doesn’t fall apart like subpar places do. My opinions are high of this place. I recommend to anyone that really enjoys amazing sushi.

Hazuki sushi restaurant, the best sushi place in whole Long Island for me. And I tried a lot of places. It’s a family business, and everyone does that great job. Always welcome, and food is just delicious, I always try something new and have never been disappointed. This place has a great atmosphere ,then you always wanna come back. So I will highly recommend stopping at least 1 time, after that, you will come back again and again.

This has turned into my family’s go-to sushi spot. They know us and our usual orders at this point. The staff is always so kind and accommodating. The sushi is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. They get only 4 stars for atmosphere cause you have to basically walk through the kitchen to get to the bathrooms, and the place is a bit small. Otherwise it’s a fantastic experience!

I’ve been looking for a good sushi takeout place in the area after a few disappointing showings from other places. Hazuki did not disappoint and it will be my go to going forward.
As you can see from the pictures, I got carried away and over ordered for my wife and I, but I got more for my money than most other places, especially for the quality. The fish was very fresh and very tasty. The fish still tasted fresh and had no issue the next day for lunch.
Basic rolls were fairly priced, I loved the spicy scallop hand roll. The only thing that left something to be desired was the takoyaki, it was smaller and less saucey than I’ve had before and prefer. It still tastes good though.
Make this your go to sushi place, I will be!

My husband Chris and I LOVE Hazuki! The food is always outstanding and so beautifully presented. We are warmly welcomed every time and try to go whenever we can. We love the Hazuki Special Rolls! Some of my favorites are Autumn New York and Spicy Girl, while my husband loves the Iso Roll and Rock & Roll. We both also love the Godzilla Roll! We’ve had lots of delicious appetizers as well. Honestly, most other sushi places are disappointing and bland compared to the delicious flavor combinations and mouth watering tastes of Hazuki’s fresh sushi!

I give Hazuki Sushi a strong 4 stars. The food was fresh, well-made, and clearly handled with care. Sushi rolls were flavorful and nicely presented, and the fish quality was solid — no complaints there. One of the best touches? They gave edamame on the house, which was a nice surprise and a good start to the meal.
That said, a couple of things held it back from a perfect score. The fried rice tasted great, but the portion was noticeably small — felt like it should’ve been more for the price. And the wait time was a bit longer than expected, even though the place wasn’t packed.
It’s definitely on the pricier side, but you’re paying for quality. Just don’t expect fast service or huge portions. Overall, if you’re in the mood for good sushi and don’t mind spending a little extra, Hazuki’s worth checking.
