Been coming here for over two years. The food is always fresh and has a homey feel. The ladies at the front are always a pleasure to deal with.

I don’t like leaving reviews usually but 20$ for a coffee and a smoothie is out of control. and both were just bad. the strawberry smoothie for my son had chunks of ice and absolutely no flavor. I asked to add honey and she tried to just put it on top without remixing or blending again. she also had an attitude about fixing it. with all the good coffee shops on the island, I wouldn’t go out of my way for this one again.

Honestly I’ve been going to Main Street since it opened under another owner (Juan ) and it was clean and kept
The new owner is letting it go to crap
From the outside fence that is decrepit to the wooden bench that was falling apart to the filthy windows
The inside is gross ! The chair by the window is gross , the floors are dirty , the cushions are ripped and the bathroom is disgusting
If you order bacon it taste weird because he has the person pre cook it and then cook it for the order ! It gross not to mention expensive! The young girls that work there don’t care ! No offense get plates ! I’m tired of eating on paper thin plates !
The new owner can do better but he’s just in it for the money !
I wouldn’t recommend this place ! Does it have great potential ? Yes
As I mentioned before it used to be great but not anymore !!!! It’s crashed and burning and gone to crap !
Right now it’s gross ! If you decide to go just look around closely ! It’s dirty and gross !!!
Do better Main Street coffee

What a great little coffee shop on Staten Island, doing big things. I’m moving to Tottenville and love small businesses being one myself i try to support every chance i get. For this place to be open early morning and having a good attitude can’t be beat. I mean look at that cookie. The coffee was great so many flavors and options. I will definitely be back.

It’s so nice to have a coffee shop like this on Staten Island rather than all the chain markets. You can definitely taste the difference. The food is not to shabby. It’s all things that can be made at home but it’s nice to have the option to grab something to eat and relax for a bit.
I will be going back again once the Richmond Rd location opens sometime this summer.

This is a cute little mom and pop cafe nestled in a small house along Main Street in Staten Island’s Tottenville community. It has a homey feeling inside with various nostagiac decor to suggest you’re in some small Midwestern town. The food menu features over a dozen types of savory toasts. My son and I ordered the Mediterranean toast consisting of whole wheat bread, hummus, cucumber, Kalakaua olives, feta, and olive oil. What made this toast stand out was that the bread was baked on the premises in an upstairs bakery. I ordered a hot drip coffee that tasted like a high-quality bold roast. The oatmeal raisin cookie I ate tasted homemade and was very chunky. The place has wifi and indoor seating for about a dozen people. There is also outdoor seating in the back. I like the 60s music that gave the place a hippie vibe. The facade had large Bay windows which let in a lot of sun and natural light. The wooden tables and chairs contributed to the overall rustic feeling to this cafe.

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered avocado toast, three/four little slices of brown spotted avocado on each slice, with slimy wilted arugula thrown on top. Requested fried eggs on top. Eggs were barely cooked with the white part running all over the place. Iced matcha was horrible also, tasted like pure powder not even mixed. Will never be ordering from here again. Complete waste of money.

I really appreciate the space that Main Street Coffee has created. It is super comfortable and cozy. It is a great place to do some work, talk with a friend, or chill. The coffee was delicious and service was great. 🙂
