We were excited to see the restaurant finally open and did not know what to expect from the combination of resolving sushi and Korean bbq. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, excellent service, and more importantly a fun and entertaining dinner. The included “all you can eat” food options are limitless: you can pick sushi from the revolving plates, order any preferred sushi directly from your personal display panel, and order a wide variety of meats to cook on your personal grill. The meat and sushi orders are delivered direct to your table by a train car which adds to the fun experience. We will certainly be back as it is an excellent place for a night out with friends or family and the food quality was very good.

All you can eat was the best way for us to enjoy our dining experience here. We were able to order a variety of meat cook it to our desired temperature. Select the type of sushi we like from a conveyor belt. Enjoying fewer interruptions because it’s mostly self service. I really enjoyed the experience.

Ok, I want to start saying I DO recommend coming here because the food and experience is great!

However, since this is their soft opening, I do have some constructive criticism to give/hope that things will be better in the future. We waited probably around 45 minutes for 2 people – which we expected, since this has been something we’ve been looking forward to for like 2 years.

My biggest request is this: Please please PLEASE make an allergen menu for those of us who need to know what is in our food. That feels like a bare basic for a restaurant to have, even during a soft opening. If not a separate menu to check, please at least put the ingredients on the menu to review as you’re adding things to your cart. If a meat has a marinade, what ingredients are in the marinade.

The conveyer belt sushi was okay, but by the end of our dinner there were multiple dishes that had been opened and revolved without being removed by the kitchen. We were seated as far from the kitchen near the doors, and there were many times that there was NOTHING in the sushi revolution. I would suggest instead ordering your sushi to be sent straight to you. The other conveyers had a lot of options on them, so maybe we just had some very hungry people in front of us.

The kbbq meats were good and the little train that brings it to you is very cute! I just need someone to choose a different horn for the train. The tongs to flip meat are so hard to hold closed for people with bad grip strength. I appreciate that dishes are easy to stack on top of each other because you’ll end up with a lot of used dishes throughout.

Our server was very sweet, but the poor girl was having to do all of the seating/hostessing and after taking us to our seat we were on our own. Didn’t know we could grab dishes and silverware from the ends of the tables. Had to eventually ask for our drinks because despite ordering them through the kiosk, they just weren’t brought to us. There was only one dish that we never received, and it was a fried dish that was supposedly being made fresh. It’s also a little crazy that rice is an extra $1 per dish when it’s probably one of the cheapest dishes to make AYCE.

Overall, I would give maybe like a 3.7 for a soft open so I’m rounding up to a 4. Everyone is still learning, I want to give grace. We’ll do it again in the future!

Very “mid” quality. Went for lunch and was surprised there was no lunch pricing. Sushi selection was quite disappointing and the KBBQ was unexciting.

I was very disappointed. Plenty of other superior AYCE places around and this one I will unfortunately say probably won’t make it they have a tremendous improvement to make before I return.

At 1pm , Sushi tasted very fishy and that indicates to me it’s been pre-assembled and maybe even sitting on the conveyor too long.

Try elsewhere. Too many other choices for this to be at this he price point it is.

Disappointed for sure.

Gainesville’s first Korean BBQ was absolutely worth the two-year wait! We visited on opening night and were so impressed with both the food and the service. The staff was incredibly attentive, explained how everything worked, and kept our table cleared so we could fully enjoy the experience.
For under $40 per person, you get all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ and sushi, plus select appetizers, which is an amazing value. The only additional charges are drinks, rice, and Wagyu upgrades. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful, and the interactive grill experience makes it perfect for groups or date nights.
So excited to finally have Korean BBQ in Gainesville. We will definitely be back!

Here for the grand opening. We are huge Korean bbq fans already but the option to have sushi that’s actually good quality is great. The staff also seemed very excited to finally be open. Give this place a try

This is by far the best spot in Gainesville! The sushi is so fresh and the meat is so tender! My server, Edith, was amazing. If you told me she was the head server, I’d believe it. Love this place and will be back soon

This is my third time here. I really enjoyed the first two times. However, today being my third time I absolutely loved it. Our server was absolutely the sweetest korean lady. Her name is Rebecca. She was so welcoming, had great recommendations and just absolutely the best.
