My pick up order was during a very hectic time of day Saturday at 5pm so I had no problem with the wait. I got a variety of protein sides thru the app it’s very affordable and extra corn and flour tortillas to have tacos for two days!!! The young man bagging orders was super nice and offered free drinks to everyone waiting. He helped me at the drink machine and opened the door what a truly sweet guy!!! It was my fault I didn’t hear my name called he was so apologetic and I got a free delicious tres leches cake. The staff preparing the orders were working fast and the supervisor was quick to get my bag of chips when I saw they were missing. The food is always fresh I liked the shredded chicken the best. The sweet pork is very sweet not my favorite but it wasn’t bad either. And I could eat that pillow nugget ice all day! Horchata was perfect

Where’s the rice and guacamole?

A big reason people go to Cafe Rio is for the fresh ingredients and generous portions, so this visit was extremely disappointing. My husband and I decided to give the St. Rose location another opportunity, as we have had issues here before.

The employee making the salads looked less than thrilled to be there, which set the tone right away. When it came to the rice, he was literally scraping the bottom of the bin and rationing it out. The beans were given sparingly, yet there was a very large portion of meat. On top of that, there was no guacamole available, and the cheese bins were empty.

To make matters worse, everything was cold.

Unfortunately, the experience was so poor that my husband and I didn’t even eat the food ,we threw it away. When you go to Cafe Rio, you expect fresh, warm food and a well-stocked line. This visit missed the mark on all levels.

I truly hope this location improves, because it has potential, but the previous experience and this experience was very disappointing.

I definitely disagree with this rating. I really like the variety they have at this establishment. I like that they have so many options for meat, veggies, salsa. It also is awesome that you can get tacos. The customer service at this location was very kind and caring for being a newbie. I definitely liked this establishment. I will be back again…….

Ran in for a quick healthier bite to eat for lunch. Tables were left dirty, so I cleaned one off with my hand sanitizer and some napkins. Have not been here before, so I asked some questions when ordering. I was met with an attitude of total annoyance by the person behind the counter. Horrible customer service in that retrospect. When I got to the payment part, another employee scolded me, and the food prep person, for getting a “larger” size dressing for my salad. He said “You know, I should really make you pay for this since this is the larger size and it costs more. It’s the smaller size that comes with the salad”. Again .. horrible customer service… I said, “That’s ok, I will pay extra”. (I actually needed the larger size because the smaller size was ridiculously small for the size of the salad.) The employees were very annoyed I didn’t know “exactly” how everything worked at this establishment. I believe explaining the process and helping a new customer is part of the job description? Anyway, tasty food, but stressful first experience. Do yourself a favor if you haven’t been here before. Look at the menu before hand, and know exactly what you want and how to order it. I don’t know about other locations, but this one shows no mercy if you aren’t EXACTLY sure about what you want to order on the line, (especially any dietary questions) and how the ordering process goes. Employees were all young kids that seemed to care less about making a great impression in customer service. Clearly it was just a job and a paycheck. If I was the business owner I’d be LIVID!! It’s too stressful for me to experience, and I don’t like spending my hard earned money these days in places that don’t make me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. The food was tasty, so I may try it again at another location.

Love cafe rio but this location had me waiting an hr+ in person for an online pick up order 3 tacos. My pick up time was 610pm didnt get my food till 715pm. On top my food didnt even come out freshly hot. The lack of customer service when having customers wait that long is ridiculous. They def need some speed in their actions. Will not be returning this location atleast. Requesting a refund on the luke warm food.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Café Rio. The staff seemed completely uninterested in doing their jobs — lazy and unmotivated from the moment I walked in. They ran out of lettuce, and instead of going to the back to restock, they just shrugged and gave me a tiny portion like it didn’t matter. The meat was the worst I’ve ever gotten here — full of fat and scraps that should’ve never been served. On top of that, the staff’s attitude was terrible: rude, dismissive, and clearly in a rush to do as little as possible.
I used to like this place, but this kind of service is unacceptable. If management actually cared about customer experience, they’d train their employees better and make sure customers get fresh, quality ingredients — not leftovers from the bottom of the pan.

Today Dec ‘26 at 14:00 everything seemed off… the staff was quiet & looked like they were being watched by a micro manager. I asked for a few beans (tablespoon’ish) on my tacos per usual & was told it’d be an up charge. I asked at the, since when at the register & was politely told… new management. Which made sense after because it was the new manager that helped me (red shirt & braces). Hopefully (red shirt & braces) eases up on the micro management because $40 each month, for a year, of a customer not coming in adds up over time.

I ordered a chicken quesadilla, with the quesadilla there was a chicken bone in my food. I also ordered 2 drinks and the large one was missing and I still paid for it. This restaurant needs to look thru the food more carefully because that is a health hazard first and secondly they need to look at mobile orders better and stop missing items especially when they don’t offer a refund. It was a 50 dollar order and the food was mid at best.

Love this Restaurant!

Just moved to Vegas. This place is a great substitute for Chipotle. The food is Delicious and fresh. All tortillas are made on premises. They do not charge for extra toppings.

The Elotes are our favorite side.

The staff is friendly and attentive to any ordering questions.

If I could have given no stars, I would have. My husband waited over an hour for an incorrect order with raw steak, a bone in a piece of chicken in a burrito, a shrimp taco with five shrimp and nothing else, a pathetically assembled salad, and a chicken bowl that was missing fajita veggies and guacamole. Completely incompetent staff. Unfathomable how this location is still open.
