Local history of PJ Magoos and El Pig Butt building in Kewaskum
I have been working on the history of the former PJ Magoos, now El Pig Butt building, for the last few months. Tiny’s mom ran a bar there for years.

It was the first time at this establishment but, it won’t be our last. We went on a Wednesday for their fish and shrimp special AUCE.
Everything was just wonderful, the food was HOT, and very tasty. It was served quickly and the wait staff was attentive. When. You’re up in the Kewaskum area stop in . The fish was a fried cod with a light batter, and the shrimp were fried fan tailed with a panko crispy crust.

Went there for fish fry. It was great. Fair price for what you got. Good service. The atmosphere was the only down side to the whole experience. It had no real theme or direction. It was like a mini arcade with a big bar in the middle of it!! But the food is very good!!

Service was wonderful and food fresh. Wrap was large enough for two meals and burger was fall apart tender. Loved the wonton cheese logs. Small town atmosphere with very friendly people. We will stop in again if ever in the area.

I enjoyed a delicious meal here recently with my daughter and son in law. I have been in this area almost all my life. I am kicking myself that I waited so long to goto this place. We all ordered the Wed Night All you can eat fish and shrimp for $12.95. It was delicious! To start out you get 5 butterflied shrimp and 2 pieces of haddock with rye bread,tartar sauce and shrimp sauce,coleslaw, fries and lemon wedges. You can reorder as much fish and shrimp as you desire. Genorous portion sizes of shrimp and fish. Definitely worth the price especially for all you can eat. The atmosphere was good and April the owner is very friendly and very attentive. The drinks were also very good. I definately will return and I highly recommend!

Good food at a local pub & grill. No parking on the street in front of the building but the other end of the building has a large amount of parking available. Friendly service and you can get served at the bar if you want or tables and chairs are available for larger groups.

Decent bar food. The “all you can eat” deals aren’t bad either. Better service at the bar would be nice. Looks like the lady that is always behind the bar is running back and forth between the bar and kitchen.

The fries were all rock hard and super salty, the service was terrible nobody remembered anything we needed and just left us sitting, and food tastes like trash. Highly recommend NOT coming here.
