No wait and food came out pretty quickly. Service was good and did a great job recommending our food. The ribs were delicious (may be my top 2 in New York), wasn’t a big fan of the Mac and Cheese (because of the shredded peppers so personal preference), and the brisket was a little tough. Overall I would eat here again and recommended it to others.

Nice place! Large portions and cheap. Everything was good. Nothing really was AMAZING but everything was good. I had the BBQ Ribs and Chicken that were good as well as the ‘famous’ fries, corn and cornbread. The portion was huge and I had to take almost half the meal home. I came at an odd time and was the only person in the restaurant most of the time. There should definitely be more people here and probably is on a regular hour. There’s a bar for late night and lots of TVs. The server was also manning the bar and knee a lot about the local craft beers. Great place, will be back. Food was served really quick as well perfect for a quick lunch.

The food is good and the portions big. The atmosphere is typical barbecue style, rustic. We’ve been there a number of times and the service is always friendly. The food has always been good too. My wife likes the pulled pork and I like the ribs and chicken.

I did take out and it was great. I was greeted and taken to the take out side of the restaurant by a very friendly worker. We ordered dinner for 2 feast, Georgia chopped pork and mini corn dogs for the toddlers. I picked up at 4:00pm we put in oven for 8:00 minutes and ate at 5:30. The sides were very good. They will see us again.

Took my co workers here last night for there birthday. Serves was so slow I waited for a refill the whole meal. We had more food on the table then what we ate. The bread was the best part of the meal. That was the worst $86 I ever spent! Could of went to Burger king and ate better!!

Have went here twice with a Groupon for takeout. Stood around while not being acknowledged by several employees. Many other better BBQ places around. Not terrible food but just average. Burnt ends were probably the best of the bunch, but they weren’t anything to write home about. Ribs too dry for my liking. Sides were pretty good. Good deal but only with Groupon.

Portions have gotten considerably smaller and the quality is getting hit or miss. We ordered two of the same meals (3 meat) and they were not mirror images of each other, explained that my companion’s dinner waited while they made more catfish for my plate. Which explained why his looked and tasted like yesterday’s! The seats and tabletops have become worn and dated and the overall appearance of the dining room indicates a need for management to step it up!

Been here twice, and won’t be back. Drink prices are the only good thing here. The food is sub-par, especially for the price. The servers are clearly underpaid too, as they seem very unhappy. Suggestion: fix your recipe for the pulled pork….and have more options for wing sauces.

So when it comes to everyone’s birthday they get to choose a restaurant for their birthday dinner. So Famous Dave’s was the choice. We arrived for early dinner with a party of 4. There was probably about 4 other tables of people already seated and about 4 employees standing around the hostess stand. We were seated fairly quickly. Our server gave us about five minutes to go over the menu. When she asked for our drink order all she asked was “Would you like a Beer or a Dave’s ultimate margarita?” she seemed confused when we all said no thank you. Than a minute later she asked “ Would you like a soft drink?” She came out with the drinks shortly after ordering them, But set them on an empty table to run over to another table that was leaving to grab her tip. We placed our dinner order for four dinner entrees and then the wait begins. Our food came out about 45 minutes later. Not one time were we offered a refill on our drinks. We didn’t see any staff in that 45 minutes. But during that time we found out that we had company. We started seeing Big Fruit Flies stopping by our table and would not go away. The food finally came out. She would reach right in front of our faces to set your plate down. After she handed out the dinners then she apologized and said “ pardon my reach.” It looked good and smelled good. One of the people in our party was asking why was the cheese missing from the BBQ pulled chicken sandwich and the server tolds us that you don’t get cheese on the pork sandwich and she proceed to tell us not to worry about it because the Pork is cheaper than the Chicken. She did not offer to do anything about it or correct it. Just kept telling us that it’s cheaper. A few of us said something to her about the Big Fruit Flies and all she did was laugh and said sorry and walked away. So during our meal we had Big Fruit Flies buzzing the tables. Now normally by this time the restaurant manager stops by to check on things. Nope no manager visit. The food was ok. But the service was horrible. After we finished up our server came out with a bucket of hot water and started to grab all the BBQ sauces off all the tables. She began to take off all the tops and place them into the bucket and then was combining them. The only time I have seen any restaurant do this is late at night when they’re about to close, Not during dinner. So overall the Food is ok, But pricey and Horrible service and Big Fruit Flies while we ate. After we were done eating our meals, we were able to finally swat one of the fruit flies.

Typhoon Typhoon
Well there were flies in this place. The food was not good at all at this location. Corn cob looked and tasted like it was left out for a few days. Veggies were dry. Meat was so so, but cold. Just underwhelming overall. Manager seemed oblivious to surroundings.
