We all had an extraordinary experience! The food was delicious, really very, very good! However, make sure dine here when Lou is serving… she is awesome! She speaks five languages, is very attentive, and doesn’t miss a beat. The meatballs, stone crab, fish tacos, and tuna tartar were all wonderful… Thank Vinz for such a delightful evening!

Surprising! Great vibe in a covered, outdoor courtyard. Love the classical guitarist, I felt like I was in Spain. Food was delicious, (the burger is amazing), servers were super kind, water glasses refilled abundantly. It is a small kitchen so be prepared to wait for your meal, early dinner reservations probably served more quickly. We had 7 PM reservations.

All I can say is WOW! From the moment we entered Vinz, we were treated to impeccable service.
Not only did Zandra help celebrate my 60th birthday once but she made it extra special for another evening for my birthday. Zandra opened her enchanting restaurant to us and it was wonderful.I felt so very special due to the food, service and special touches from Vinz. I would highly recommend to locals and visitors as it was one of my favorite birthday events.
To dine at a establishment like Vinz is always special. Lovely food, lovely wine, fantastic company, love you Zandra!

Disappointing experience last night. We waited for well over an hour for our entry after placing our orders. First course was served and then we waited and waited, finally having to inquire when our meal could be expected. The person who had ordered the hamburger medium rare was served a very well done burger which lead us to believe our orders had been sitting under the warmer for way too long. And there were very few guests there so they can’t use the excuse that they were busy. Half the tables were empty. Our server was pleasant but the service is simply not acceptable. And please watch the way the bill is tallied. They are misleading about the tip!!!! Not a repeat.

My Wife and I went to Vinz for our Anniversary and it was not a pleasant experience at all. We had gone with the idea of a entire evening, drinks, appetizers, dinner and hopefully good music. Our waitress literally drove us crazy asking at least 5-6 times if we were ready to order dinner. This is after I had told her we were in no hurry and planned to spend the evening there. The appetizer we order was good until the next table beside us became filled with 2 couples and their dogs. We were shocked that such a nice place would allow dogs only feet away from you while you are having dinner and drinks. Soon another table filled up with a couple and their 2 dogs. The dogs seemed completely uncomfortable, scared and barked whenever anyone came close to their table. It is not our idea of a place you would want to go for a special occasion or even a quiet adult pet less evening.We did not stay and order dinner. Great as a dog kennel which also has a business right next door but not to our liking. We will not be going back to bad because it could be very nice and elegant!!

The restaurant requires a credit card to hold your reservation and if you don’t show up they will charge you $25.00, however if they cancel your reservation, you can’t hold them accountable. The owner called me at 1:30 pm the day of our resy and said she can’t open tonight because her chef called in sick. She explained we were her only reservation for the evening and knew were coming for a special occasion (birthday) so she wanted to let me know. I appreciate the call however, we also drove to the restaurant a couple of weeks ago to dine there and they weren’t open. It wasn’t a Sunday or a holiday. Their website clearly states serving dinner Mon.-Sat. 5pm. and reservations recommended. We will not be returning to try this restaurant!

My wife and I had heard about Vinz but never visited. Yesterday was our wedding anniversary so we decided to give it a try. And I’m glad we did! What a wonderful surprise tucked away in a hidden courtyard. Not sure what we enjoyed most…the music, service, food or ambiance. They were all first rate and fun! I was quite impressed with the raw bar…cold water oysters instead of Florida oysters! Being an oyster fan this meant a lot. My wife ordered a tuna tartare which was as delicious to eat as it was to see. A wonderful wine list. And Michael, our server from Boston, was on his game. He was extra attentive but never intruding. His Boston training showed! I give this treasure of a special restaurant 2 enthusiastic thumbs up! We will definitely be back.

The food was terrible but the most egregious issue was putting a 20% gratuity on our bill and never saying anything. Meanwhile we were adding a 20% tip, glad my friend caught it. Their excuse was tables of 4 or more get charged 20%…we were only 3 people. Then the excuse was because we were at a 4 top the computer automatically adds it. In addition, it was freezing out and they had no indoor tables, the music they had was terrible and we could not hear each other talk.

We’re on vacation visiting, our Aunt P. recommended to meet her for dinner @ Vinz, had to bring 2 picky kids & adult; It was an amazing surprise. The food was delectable, you can tell the chef puts all his love in the food; Our Aunt and I had the scallops, my husband had the steak, my kid had flat bread and his friend the salmon.
