I do take out from here so the atmosphere doesn’t count for me, although it’s very quaint.
I eat here often, the Grandma pizza, pasta fagiole, chicken scarpiello & penne vodka have always been excellent and still are. Tonight, I found a new love, the stuff artichoke! It’s a very large, whole artichoke with a generous amount of bread crumbs and the flavor with a little broth (not soupy or soggy at all) is honestly the best I ever had. I used to love the one at Dominic’s on Arthur Avenue but this one is superior.

We did take out with delivery. Within a half hour our meal was delivered to us and the food was excellent . We had a sausage pizza, and a slice of Grandmas pizza, as well as pepper n egg wedges. Food was warm and delicious .

Hey! It’s a pizzeria, not the Waldorf! Atmosphere is not important, pizza is, and their pizza is very good. Medium thin crust, they also have other fine Italian food. I always order takeout so atmosphere is unimportant to me. Staff is friendly, and food is great. Have been going there off and on since I was in high school and I’m now 70, which tells you my opinion. I wish them at least another 70 years in business. The business was sold from its original owner, but the quality and taste remain.

Staff here is great! The chicken scarpariello wedge with cheese was delicious! I love the kind of bread they use and it was definitely toasted to my liking. I will have to take off one star however, since at this price point I’d expect there be a bit more chicken in my sandwich.

Right when you walk in, cashier sitting on his phone every time. The Sicilian is literally a block of bread with cheese on top, save yourself. Their regular slices are better, a bit greasy, but nothing a napkin can’t fix. Cold drinks, sweet desserts, the place is okay.
