Worst food ever. Dont Think about ordering food from this restaurant.
We have ordered the food at 10:30 and pick up at 11 PM and the food is still hot when we get to the hotel and this is all spoiled. It was simply reheated food given towards us.

DANGEROUS MUTTON BIRYANI.
Chicken 65 biryani is full of color and my son throwed up is the picture attached. Thank you

Next day – so called owner argues saying that I don’t understand what you mean when it says spoiled/ rotten. Though I was trying to explain him, it’s a spoiled food.

I would not worry if this is one this was six biryani, and all of them were like that, and he was not even trying to understand and Argue us back, saying you cannot raise your voice.

I will resonate with the latest reviews, the food was too good when we started ordering before an year. The food was “Wow, I found the right place and let me market it for them and tell every friend and family and the whole world to order from this place”. But……….since last 4-5 weeks, the food has gone from worse to bad. Its so bad that even a run down buffet place will be better than this food. And I believe the other reviews confirm, the chef has changed. The Indian restaurant owners and Chefs really need to work this out, this has been a standard story for all new restaurants and kitchen who start phenomenally well and die down because they cannot retain their staff.

Oh boy! What a disappointment, this place was our go to for Biryanis. My wife gets the Spl. Chicken and I (usually)get an Avakkai Panner Biryani (leaving the “it’s not really biryani” convo aside ) we would absolutely tear into it the moment we got our hands on it. Around these parts, it was one of the best biryanis we’ve had. We just ordered today, she got her usual but the one I usually get was missing on the DoorDash app (red flag #1), so I ordered the gongura paneer biryani instead. Food arrived and as we start unpacking notice the containers are different (red flag #2), raita is different (#3) no salna (#4), heck even the onions are different (red -> white).

All can be forgiven but the first mouthful we both took, we were so disappointed. There’s no flavor, the rice was over cooked and the spices were clumped and not very well cooked at all. The whole thing tasted like raw dry spices, mostly just turmeric and salt. We usually finish the whole bowl or at least a good decent portion of it but today, we barely ate a few spoonfuls, because we were extremely hungry, but that’s about all we could manage to eat. The rest will probably be tossed or go in the compost.

I called the restaurant and they confirmed that the chef is new, that’s fine but how can they mess it up so bad?? Does no one taste the food before it goes out to customers? Is there no standard recipe for new chefs to follow to maintain consistency? How does someone over cook basmati rice and think that’s acceptable to serve to customers?

I very rarely leave a bad review as I know people’s livelihoods depends on a business doing well but man, my disappointment is immeasurable and I’m sad I won’t get to relive the taste of something I’ve comes to enjoy anymore. Hopefully things go back to the way they were but for now, we’re not going to be ordering food here anymore till we see some better reviews in the future.
Again, I’m all about supporting small businesses and hope to see theym do well. But it looks like the reviews have started to tank the past few weeks and I can see why. I don’t want a refund or anything else. I just want good biryani

We ordered veg Biryani, egg noodles, shahi paneer, Mango lassi and Naan . Naan, Noodles and shahi paneer were good. The biryani was not much flavorful and was just spicy as we asked for it. The vegetable Biryani looked like a lot of color was added. Mango lassi also was too dark not sure if that’s the mangoes or color was added. We are visiting and were hoping to eat good food after a tiring day and ordered from here looking at the reviews. We had a little bit of after taste of the oil. But looks like the food was freshly made because we could eat the same thing next day afternoon.

I used to come here at midnight for their chef’s special biryani back when it actually tasted like biryani. This time, I made the rookie mistake of not checking the recent reviews. I trusted them… and the universe punished me with the worst biryani ever. Whatever authenticity they once had has clearly packed its bags and moved out of SoCal.

And to make the adventure complete, we ordered chicken noodles but got veggie noodles instead which, honestly, tasted like they were punishing us for even ordering.

If this is the same place that once served the best biryani in SoCal, then I guess nostalgia really does lie.

We always order from them as they are the only Indian restaurant open late and also the food is delicious, but today, when we ordered butter chicken and garlic naan (both super delicious!), the portions were smaller than usual and the naan was cold. Hopefully this can be fixed!

As many have pointed out here, this place has gone downhill. I have had my fair share of sub par food but what was served on 9/24 was not food.

Ordered Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani today for my potluck at work. Everyone liked it and it was a hit! I took some leftovers to my brothers and they liked it as well. I would 100% recommend this dish and will come back for more. Thank you so much; many of my coworkers loved.

Got hit with a major food poisoning ordering from this place on uber eats. While eating the biryani it did feel off- dry and stale but ate it anyways for the high price I spent but horrible please don’t go here they don’t have ethics even after charging such high cost.
