If you are looking for creative, tasty cocktails and delicious small plates, then Alice Comfort Cocktail is the place to be. We made a reservation for two early in the evening on New Year’s Eve and had no problem locating the door and following the stairs up to the second floor. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table. We ordered the penicillin and espresso cocktails along with calamari and shumai steamed pork dumplings. Round two was the winter berry and cherry bandit cocktails with the Hoy Jor dumplings. Everything was absolutely delicious and exactly the experience we were looking for. They also have entrée size menu options and many different cocktails and mock-tails. The staff was friendly and helpful. The space is adorable….love the Alice in Wonderland theme. They definitely maximize space, so just be prepared for close quarters….though it was not noisy. We could hold a private conversation just fine. We are already planning our next visit. Thanks for the great experience!

Such a fun bar in Alexandria (DMV) with a cozy Christmas vibe that’s perfect for enjoying the holidays. The atmosphere was lively but still comfortable, great for hanging out and having drinks. They currently have three seasonal holiday cocktails, and we ended up ordering all three. If you love tequila, I highly recommend the Santarita easily a 10/10. For classic cocktail lovers, you can also request your favorite drinks directly from the bartender.
They also offer snacks and entrées, and if you’re into Thai food, this place will not disappoint. The crabmeat fried rice was my favorite dish honestly so good I’d rate it more than 10/10. Overall, a great spot in Old Town Alexandria with good drinks, great food, and a festive vibe. Definitely worth checking out. ❤️

Such a charming spot tucked away with beautiful cocktails and great attention to detail. My drink was not only delicious but so thoughtfully presented: smooth, balanced and almost too pretty to sip. I also tried the shrimp dumplings, which were flavorful and had the perfect bit of sweet spice. The ambience is warm and intimate with a lovely glow from the bar lighting and bottles lining the shelves. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax, enjoy your food and drink. Definitely one of my new favorite finds in Alexandria.

Stopped here for a nightcap after dinner and it was a cool spot, great decor and energy but the cocktails themselves could have been better. Just not well balanced and not very original in terms of concepts. Maybe worth another shot a different time, but nothing memorable to merit a swift return. Service was fine, no issues.

My favorite girls’ night out destination in Old Town Alexandria, VA! They offer an excellent selection of Thai dishes (we love to share Fried Chive Dumplings and Pad Thai), BUT the real stars are their stunning and delightful COCKTAILS!
If you appreciate yuzu and citrus flavors, their drink menu will certainly impress you! My personal favorites are the Funky Monkey and Cherry Blossom! For those who enjoy a bit of heat, don’t miss the Mango Spice! ❤️

This is a really great bar to have fun drinks and delicious food. It’s part of the signature Thai restaurant downstairs which is phenomenal. So the same great food is served upstairs in the bar.
The decor is fun and interesting. The service is quick. I highly recommend sitting at the bar.
As for dates, I think this place makes a great spot as a stopover if the first part of the date went great. You can still hear each other talk and you can share some small appetizers and try each other’s drinks.

We have been here a few times. Service is really quick and food and drinks are good. We always split the Chicken Basil and get a small plate to try. We like how spicy the Chicken Basil is. We have always been able to get a seat but the place is small so it’s worth getting a reservation.
