Excellent food and well kept diner. Owned and run by dad and son. Omelette was amazing. Very reasonable prices, great service and great people. This is still quite original, the grill is on the counter side and very, very clean diner.

The place was absolutely gross. Dirty, the plates, tables, seats all needed to be cleaned. Went here with a friend and wr both got stared down, if you want the business learn to smile and greet your paying customers. We got really sick from the food.

I visited Lou’s for the first time while passing through Clinton. Lou’s is a classic little diner with a lot of local color – something from another era. I had the over-easy eggs, bacon, potatoes with pancakes. The food was great–perfectly prepared and fresh tasting. As the diner filled up with locals for lunch, it became clear it was a local hot spot. There was a strong community spirit there.

This place is underrated. It’s everything you’d hope it would be based on how it looks from the outside. Like stepping back in time. An absolutely classic diner. I took my daughter here on a daddy daughter date. The chef was Lou’s son who said he’s been working there 54 years. My daughter had a “Mickey mouse pancake” and I had eggs and toast with coffee. All of the food was good (standard diner food, granted). After breakfast the chef showed my daughter and I behind the counter and the kitchen and walk in fridge/freezer out back. That was very kind of him and she loved it. Made for a memorable daddy daughter date!

A true diner experience. Complete with grumpy old regulars and a menu from the 60s. Prices are fair and the food is better than expected. A must stop if looking for an authentic New England breakfast or lunch experience.

Lou’s catering was recommended to us by a few people to cater our Moms bereavement. The recommendations were NOT wrong. Lou’s menus are easy to navigate and simple to substitute, the food was delicious and plentiful. He and his staff were amazing in keeping dishes full and plentiful and clearing plates from tables as they saw them complete. Incredible services through and through. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thank you Lou.. tremendously

Food was ok could be better but honestly if ur a colored person I wouldn’t recommend going in there it felt like they stereo type people from different cultures also will stare at u like u don’t belong there n pretty much make u feel uncomfortable very unexpectble also they promote their customers to make jokes n smart remarks of colored people ..will never go there again

Definitely has the feel of being the local breakfast joint. But dont let that deter you. Everyone was super friendly. The staff was amazing and hilarious. Small menu but the food is amazing. The Omelet I got was perfect.
Small diner. Great for a single person or a couple. Any bigger group might have trouble finding a spot.
Amazing place.

A cute place for a quick bit. I got to meet Paul who works Sunday’s and he is very nice.
I got an omelet, and it was ok. They make moderate breakfast sizes which leave you full but not bursting.
Good space for 1-3 people groups, but not great for larger groups.
The open kitchen is great because you get to see what exactly goes into your food. Place was clean and I would highly recommend it for 1-2 people on a budget looking for a friendly breakfast.
