So when I heard about Sirphey I was elated to have another non-new Mexican food option in town. The first time we ordered it we got some Thai dishes that weren’t great, but weren’t terrible. We grabbed food there multiple times during lunch and it slowly got worse. I love pretty much all Asian food so I mainly stuck with that cuisine every time I ordered. Nothing stood out as above average for me. The Indian dishes lacked the spices you should normally get, the Thai dishes were overly sweet, and the Banh Mi bowl I ordered yesterday….well, it wasn’t even close to Banh Mi. The pork was dry, the carrots were barely pickled, if at all, there wasn’t cilantro, jalapenos, chili, etc. Just freakin carrots and cucumbers with some spicy mayo. My girlfriend got the meatloaf dish, which while tasted good was super greasy. For dessert we got baklava which was also drowning in syrup and the filo dough was tough and chewy. I mean comon….I don’t understand the high ratings half the places in town get. Has no one here had truly authentic ethnic dishes? Anyways, we gave Sirphey about 5 chances to serve something great and it failed to so I don’t think we’ll be coming back.

I got the apple jalapeño tofu with calabacitas and mashed potatoes. And a berry drink. I ordered at the booth at the Gordon’s concert. I came to try the African food truck but was underwhelmed with their vegetarian option (yes, only one option ). I looked over the menu at Sirpheys booth and was pleased to see several vegetarian options!
The staff working the booth was really friendly and they were fast at serving me. They also were nice to my dog that means a lot to me.
They had the meal pre-made in clamshell boxes and warmed it up in a microwave. It made me nervous at first but then I opened the box and the food was presented beautifully. Everything was in earth friendly packaging.
Then I tasted the food! Explosion of deliciousness! It was the perfect balance of spice. It was sweet and hot and savory. Lots of umami. Everything was perfectly seasoned! It was all the perfect temperature. I expected to have hot and cold pockets because of the microwave but it was just right all around.
The drink was a bit expensive 6$ , when the meal was 11$ but it was also in earth friendly plastic and had a lid for sipping from the top and no straw. Also, it was perfectly sweet and tasted how it should have! Lots of berry goodness. It went great with the meal.
I am so glad that I tried their food I will definitely visit their location and when I go back to unquarked I’ll order something there too! Keep up the good work Sirphey!
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food, friendly service, and environmentally conscious restaurant!

I’m so glad this place exists. Had a tuna poke bowl that was fantastic and their Indian dishes are awesome; in fact, I’ve liked almost everything I’ve ever had. Just look at this orange spotted cheesecake-thing!

Food was exceptional and frankly surprising. Vegan options for my lady and the burger was perfect. Not a typical restaurant in style but weather was perfect to eat outside. Great spot for a good feed before or after experiencing this amazing park.

Having enjoyed burgers for 60 years, I can say with some authority that Dave’s Elk burger was without parallel my all- time favorite burger. We drive 60+ miles to get here for lunch, and it is always worth it. The wine pairings suggested for the burger and the other plates enjoyed among my party were all exquisite.

We have eaten here a couple times recently and been very impressed. The African curry had great flavor with a crispy skin and large portions. The plantains were also exceptional. Some of the meat dishes had been a little overcooked a few months ago, but it has been excellent lately.
Worth trying again!

Wonderful! Truly excellent food. Variable menu with something for every palate, kids too. Like a world plate tour but w/standard comfort foods too. Great value, friendly, safe and sanitary service and pick up. Stay local and order Sirphey for your next meal or treat – help keep this hometown gem open so we can keep eating here! Will you be (safely) adventurous and try it?

Food was unexpectedly outstanding for a cafe in a national monument. Indian flair to standard American food—the Bollywood burger should not be missed! The iced chai was also exceptional. Prices were not elevated for the quality, and the service was great. Stop here!

2 months in Los Alamos eating every day at the restaurant…I’ve tried all of them several times and Sirphey is the BEST restaurant in town. The food is fresh, tastily, not a huge portion (which is actually a plus in a country where the quantity is often ways too much and the quality ways too low). The quality is great and there is a good choice of different dished, also for someone (like me) who does not eat spicy. I didn’t try the delivery, but even when you go there and order, the waiting time is more than reasonable even if you are in rush. GREAT JOB and GREAT PLACE TO EAT!
