Our server Mari was amazing. She was attentive, kind , and served us well. I ordered 2 white Sangria’s, fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, pastrami sliders, and beef tacos. The portion sizes were appropriate for the price. (My picture only shows a few pickles and mozzarella sticks because I was sharing with someone else) All of our food arrived hot & it was fresh(no yucky burnt grease taste). The bathroom and patio area where we dined were both clean.

Went for lunch. Got the chips and guac as an appetizer and you get a good serving size of it. Then everyone got burgers and they were all really good. Nice and juicy and could tell they were made with quality meat. Overall great food. The server was super attentive too. The service went above and beyond two weeks after I ate there by getting me a copy of the receipt I needed as well. Thanks Kaitlyn and Lizzy, y’all rock!

Tru Burger is an excellent local Anthem establishment! The owners are hands-on, working full-time with the team, and their pride shows in everything they do. The food is consistently delicious, and they offer great lunch specials during the week.
We’ve also successfully hosted our team holiday events on their patio. Their customer service is truly top-notch—they are incredibly attentive to the customer experience. If you find the music a bit too loud or have any other concern, just ask; they will promptly address it. If you are unhappy with something you’ve ordered, they will always make it right.

We stopped at this location on our way to Flagstaff. First of all, let me say that the food was great (wings, salmon burger and perfect, piping hot thin fries) but the service? I’m not sure what was going on with our server (the bartender) but she took down our order (and wrote it down) then asked about it a few minutes later (looking at me like she’s never seen me before) then asked again, and then again, and then initially, we never received our fries. It was bizarre. It felt like candid camera, only that it wasn’t amusing. But hey, at least the food was good, fries were perfect, and the beer was ice cold.

First visit and I would go back. Service was efficient and our server was very attentive. She made sure to check on us often throughout the dining experience. She (forgot her name) was very knowledgeable of their menu items, made great suggestions, great drink paring suggestions and that was greatly appreciated. When I was dissatisfied with a drink choice (what sounds good is not always good) our server didn’t hesitate to remove the item and suggested a different item and did so with a pleasant demeanor and smile. The entire staff was cheerful, and greeted you and I like the way they assisted one another. So kudos to this establishment and the staff on this night.

This was pretty disappointing. The chips were a little burnt and the salsa was just not very good. I got the Tru Bistro Burger, unique flavors that worked well together. The kids grilled cheese was pretty good. The quesadilla was what you’d expect. We ordered 3 burgers. All of them were undercooked. The buns were burnt on all of them. Our server was fantastic she was fast and polite. For the price, this food was just all right. Likely won’t be back.

Very disappointed. My boyfriend and I used to frequent the TruBurger in Central Phoenix and we absolutely loved it. The people were nice and the service was always quick! When we found the location in Anthem we were ecstatic! We visited the anthem location and were highly disappointed. We asked for a booth and didn’t get one. We were willing to wait a little longer for a booth if needed. We waited for our food for almost an hour. We watched as people who came in after us got their food before us, eat and leave. I ordered a well done habanero burger and received a medium well burger that had no sauce. We were literally the last customers in the restaurant. Some of the waitress’ even left before we did. We got to the restaurant before 7pm and didn’t leave until 9:15pm. We did not have a good experience at all.
