A friend recommended this restaurant to us due to its stunning view and lobster but we unfortunately didn’t feel the same. The restaurant is quite small with a few tables beside the window which have some distant views of the river, but not right on. We couldn’t get a seat over there anyway. They have lobster meals but they are pretty plain and come with very basic sides which are basic lettuce salad and fries together with sauces from the stores. They neither look exciting nor taste yummy at all compared with their prices. It seems more like a place for tourists instead of good food.

Warm and friendly service even if you don’t speak French. Lobster roll was amazing, definitely 100g seasoned lobster meat if not more on lettuce in a flatbread. Lobster poutine is also amazing with a good portion of lobster, lots of cheese curds and a white sauce kind of like bechamel. Indoor seating is very cozy and homey and outdoors seating with a fantastic view of the St Lawrence.

Lucky to arrive early (11:30) before the lunch rush and get a table. Escargot were delicious as were our crab and lobster roll lunches. Great location, you get to drive past some stunning cottages on the way there. Even spotted a few whales in the channel. Recommend to book ahead during covid restrictions. If you aren’t able to get a table they do offer take out, beer included.

Enjoyed this gem along the waterfront in Rivière-du-Loup. The fish was very good. I went around 7 and I had to wait about 10 minutes to get seated. Service was friendly and they had local beer available. However, I didn’t like how it was over $11 for a can of beer, but it was good for a local craft beer. Ended up paying over $50 which is usually more than what I want to pay. Nonetheless, for the experience and location it was good to do once.

This place is terrific for seafood and the staff we had was welcoming and friendly. It is pretty quaint and popular so you better make a reservation or you will not get in. The menu has french and english so you can always point at the menu if there is a language barrier. Stick around for a beautiful sunset.

Had we not got there at 11:30a, we would have had a wait. Very popular spot. Service was great. Loved my escargot appy and Lobster roll. Beer from the local microbrewery was a great touch.

Definitely a hidden gem, I initially went here to view the sunset but stumbled upon this place. Amazing food, the portions are surprisingly large. Service is good too.

Visiting for the first time. The server speaks both English and French. You are sitting where you can watch the ferry cross the St. Lawrence River while you eat.
The food is delicious. I recommend the Captain’s platter which has shrimp, scallops, lobster, and sole.
Make sure you have the strawberry pie for dessert!
