I’m a big fan of the original location in Taylorville. Decided to try the new one in Rochester. Holy-Guac burger was pretty good but had to add some salt/sauce. Amigo horse shoe was great. Onion rings were awesome. Service and atmosphere was good although not as boutique as Taylorville. Still enjoyed it with a Fat Tire draft.

Lunch with two friends. Service was excellent. We were greeted immediately with complimentary fresh salsa and taco chips which I ended up cleaning out and was given a second basket without even asking!!! My friends had fresh civeche and enchiladas which they declared to be excellent. I had shredded beef tamales which were OK. Not enough flavor for my taste but possibly scaled back for local taste. Restaurant was clean and inviting. So much so we were deep in conversation and ended up staying for two hours. I’d like to thank the staff for not rushing us. The service, salsa, guacamole, chips and comfortable atmosphere were enough to make me look forward to another visit soon!

Not bad at all for a newly opened restaurant. Having been to the Taylorville location, I have no doubt they’ll be up to 5-star territory before long. I had the brisket waffle burger, which I enjoyed, but would make one suggestion. Brisket on top of a medium well burgy is an awful lot of dry meat. Needs some kind of sauce (BBQ or maybe peppercorn) between the bovine elements. High marks at our table for the waffle fries, sweet potato fries, and pretzel buns.

UPDATE: During our second visit one of our group became violently ill. By process of elimination, we realized that the only thing he had that no one else did was the cheese sauce.

Ordered a to go order. Everything looked delicious but it all tasted like it was canned and not fresh. The ground beef smelled and tasted like canned beef for the chimichangas and they weren’t very crispy. I live real close so the integrity should have been fine the 5mins it took to get back home. The salsa was also just tomato sauce with some cilantro in it. The chips were good.

This place had amazing staff, the kitchen moved so quickly. I don’t think I’ve ever had as fast of service in my life. Our waitress was charastmatic and attentive. The pricing was fair for the portion size. Family of three was about $68 before tip. The menu has a lot of great options and some range too. Will definitely be coming back here, 10 out 10 recommend. I was a little crampt, but the ridiculously amazing staff made up for it. EAT HERE!
