My first visit to Miss Saigon, went for noon lunch on a Friday. The restaurant was neat and clean. Jeff was our waiter, very nice and friendly young man. I had a vegetable and tofu pho with lemongrass flavor base. Spice was a pleasant medium heat. The portion was so large that I took half home for dinner. Pricing was typical, service was very fast! I would definitely recommend it for someone who works in the downtown Sarasota area.

Excellent pho. This is my first visit to Miss Saigon restaurant. I have eaten at other Vietnamese restaurants on the east coast of Florida recommended to be good by Vietnamese people, so I have some perspective on the taste. The service was quick, courteous, and quiet. The restaurant and bathroom are clean and spacious. The menu has lots of dishes. I ordered pho with rare beef flank, tendon, and tripe. I found the broth savory and slightly sweet or tangy, slightly different than other places, but in a better way. The noodles were good. The beef flank had nice thick cuts, the tendon was very tender and soft, almost melting, and the tripe had a nice crisp texture. The soup really didn’t need any seasoning other than the heat that I prefer in my dishes. I am impressed with this first visit and will definitely return. Well done Miss Saigon.

I have been eating here since they opened, it is excellent and I highly recommend it. Friendly staff, excellent food! They even corrected an ordering mistake I made without even asking if I wanted them to (I am eating low carb, and to say no noodles. The owner noticed and asked me if I hadn’t wanted them. 3 minutes later she brought me more broth. THAT is customer service!!) Top notch!

It has fabulous soups and many of other dishes are simply delicious. The cook and wait staff go the distance to make sure the food experience is what the customer wants. Atmosphere is comfortable and not pretentious. I enjoy seeing the diversity of customers; New College students, Fruitvillians, single eaters, oldsters and teenagers enjoying their conversation with a great meal.

It’s probably time for me to leave a review of this place. I eat here on average about once a week. I have been going here for 3 years now. The menu is extensive, I have had just about everything and all of it was excellent. The only complaint is a TV that is often on, and sometimes the service is a bit slow. Other than that, this place is excellent. I highly recommend it.

This is the worst place to go especially with kids! The lady the owns it is the host and she is so rude and doesn’t care about anyone. Yeah the food is good but with service like that I rather go anywhere else. She burned my sons who is 1 years old and barely has three teeth. So I asked her to remake it cause he won’t be able to chew through it and she yelled and got upset. I’m sorry your job is to take care of your customers if you can’t not do that close your doors! Hate this lady!

The Pho was almost perfect, tender rare steak, gently sweet broth, and plenty of Sriracha. I’ve had some top-notch Pho in Seattle, so I can’t quite give this an Excellent rating, but it’s delicious 😀 We will be back!
