Visiting from Utah. We drove an hour to eat here because of my brother-in-law’s recommendation. We had the Alu Dham, Mushroom Tofu Momo, Super Green Momo, Chicken Thukpa Ngoepa, Mango Lassi, and the Juicy Mango Mochi ice cream. All excellent. The service was great, very prompt and friendly. I wish we lived closer!

Could not wait to try Catskill momos! After reading such great reviews and everyone raving. First off, we did take out so right there I cannot write an accurate review about the C-momo. They were hard and very tiny and I’m sure the hardness came from them getting cold. The sauce the momos were in tasted bland and not fresh at all. The potato samosas could not have been fresh. They tasted pre cooked right from the frozen food isle. The shogo momo I’m confused about. It was fried not sure if they were supposed to be steamed but they too were hard as a rock. The chicken thukpa was bland and not very appetizing. I’ve had some pretty damn good authentic mango lassi and this was gross. In fact, I have eaten plenty of south asian dishes some authentic and some not. So I am aware of what some of these dishes should taste like. The only thing we actually liked and that too was on the bland, dry side was the Alu Dham. I’m very disappointed and do not think I will be returning as a customer. I will say the lady over the phone was very friendly and the establishment was clean.

Facing facts, you will find NO other establishment preparing authentic Tibetan momos ANYWHERE in the Catskills, so this market niche is a sealed deal! That said, the momos are of outstanding quality, available in vegetarian and meat-filled varieties. The proprietor Jimmy is very friendly, and the Buddhist decorations are gorgeous. The bathroom is narrow but clean. Unpaved parking in the restaurant’s front and on its side. In November 2021 the Delaware County Libertarian Party hosted Larry Sharpe at this location during his campaign for New York Governor.

I was really hesitant to try out dining at this place due to some reviews saying some comments here are fake. But I tried it anyway just last week and I can really attest that the food here at Catskill Momos are great! I’m obsessed with their momos, which I think are filled with beef and chickpea. Their own version of ramen with chicken is great and the chicken thupka is fantastic!

The food was great but the service was pretty bad. We ordered 5 plates of momos that took 55 minutes to arrive. 40 minutes after we sat the waiter apologized for the wait and gave 3 cups of water to 6 of us. Finally, when the food was ready the waiter gave us the food w/o individual plates, even though we said we’ll eat family style, so we got to stare at the food for another 5 minutes while starving until we got the plates.
Once arrived, the food was pretty good. A better and faster service would have resulted in a 5 star review..

Went for my first time today and I can say the food is absolutely wonderful, tasty, and I will be back for more without a doubt! The location has been open for about 3 months now in the Delhi area, so if you are looking for a new place to try, this is it! Our server was a sweetheart and very knowledgeable about the food on the menu! It’s a Tibetan style restaurant and offers unique food to the area. It’s very cozy inside, a little small, but perfect! I’m very happy to see a new business in this college town. Give it try, you will love it here!

Last night I experienced @catskillmomos for the first time.
Let me just say….. Wow! And not just any WoW, I mean Gordon Ramsey after tasting the perfect scallop WoW. @gordongram
The authentic Tibetan food was beyond delicious. The food was so fresh, perfectly hand made, and cooked to perfection. I literally ate so much, I had to force myself to stop. We officially have what could only be found in Tibet itself, maybe Manhattan the closest, in Delhi, NY!!
From the dumplings, to the beef stir fry, back to a chocolate dripping dumpling for dessert, along with a flourless almond cake.
Again – WoW.
Not to mention the two gentlemen that helped us. What I loved even more about this restaurant is that not only did we have amazing food, but the service was just as fantastic. The chef is coming out to help bus and serve us. His sous chef was just as incredible. He even tolerated me asking him how to properly pronounce the foods names because I was twisting my tongue. To have your executive chef come out and sing Happy Birthday to your Mom…..I mean, speechless…..like no other……HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU GO RIGHT AWAY!! Don’t wait!! Just go!! Order one of everything off of the menu. I promise you will not be disappointed.

My daughter and I just had the most amazing meal at Catskill Momos! The chickpea and beef/chives dumplings were fantastic. Save room for the dessert dumplings that were out-of-this world delicious. The owner and chef is wonderful to speak with and makes you feel special!

Excellent dumplings! We ordered a bunch of flavors and shared them family style. My favorite was the C- Momo dumplings, they come in a savory sauce that to can soak up the dumplings in.

Guy was working by himself so it got a little backed up behind my order but he got my order out fast. Everything was great. Well worth any wait.
