Great service, friendly staff, good food, delicious Helado Frito made with oreo ice cream and smothered in whipped cream… the only detriment is that the margarita was sad. I ordered a top shelf which is supposed to be triple sec, Don Julio, & Grand Marnier. It looked and tasted more like a tequila sunrise.

Cheery interior decorator and friendly staff.
When the weather is nice there are a few outside tables with umbrellas for shade, which is nice ‘cos we can have our dog sit in the shade with us instead of her having to stay in a hot vehicle.
We eat here a few times a year when in town.

Their tacos and enchiladas are great! I love to come here for some quality time with my family and some great food! My only complain is that the restaurants next stores neighbors started playing music super loud and started vibrating the walls. Hopefully, they take care of the issue soon! Overall a great place to eat in Carbondale.

This restaurant…I really wanted to like it and we gave it a chance even though it wasn’t the most appealing place around. We went there based off past reviews. Honestly, I don’t know how this place got good reviews unless ours was just a completely off experience.
It started off alright– dingy–poorly lit. We asked for a seat near the back. They brought out chips and salsa and something that looked and tasted like pickled cabbage/onions which was actually to DIE for!!! I loved that…..and that’s about it.
My drinks were not the best–not that they didn’t have enough tequila in them…they were just poorly balanced.
My sister ordered the quesadillas which she said were okay. I made the HUGE mistake of ordering an octopus tostada. It was overcooked and tasted extremely fishy–not at all what it should taste like. I started wondering whether it was overcooked to cover up the octopus possibly being bad– I was extremely ill halfway through the night and into the morning which derailed quite a few of my plans.
I will not chance going here again.

Had chicken street tacos which were delicious. They have this amazing slaw that they serve with the chips and salsa. Even if you aren’t a fan of slaw, you are going to want to try this. An oil base rather than cream and absolute heaven on a chip! Salsa was on point too. Nicely done!
