We always stop by this Rita’s Ice after my kids soccer practice, and it is always a pleasant experience! The treats were refreshing, perfect for cooling down after a long day. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Always a great stop for a sweet treat! Highly recommend!

Update: the young lady there today was so nice and really remedied the situation! She was so understanding and made it up to my son. We are very appreciative.
Showed up at 9 PM and at the window waiting to order and the barista shut down the window on us…we were the only ones there. I asked her why she was closing so early and she said no one told her the closing time was 10 PM and she didn’t feel like waiting another hour which is clearly posted on the store and online. Disappointing for my 6 year old. She could have taken the quick order. Felt she was not interested in taking an order from us. Rude.

The employee, Vasu, was amazing and patient. I brought my field hockey team of 23 players, he was working alone and worked efficiently with all of us. He was also so kind to our whole group. I was very happy with the service!

We are always served by a lovely gentleman and he makes the ice cream good every time. There are tables to sit and enjoy the ice cream as a family. It is a pleasure and will come back again. Been getting ice cream here for years. Prices are reasonable! You all should come get ice cream here !! You won’t regret it

Went to visit for our first ice cream experience of spring at the South Brunswick Rita’s location and were extremely disappointed. I ordered a sundae with wet walnuts and was told they didn’t have any, ok—-no biggie. I ordered a gelati and asked for a little more custard than shaved ice and was told there would be an up charge for that—-understandable. Then we ordered a mix of coffee and vanilla custard and received the tiniest amount possible. I could not believe my eyes when she handed us the cup of custard. Our almost $10 ice cream experience left much to be desired. Thank god someone let us pet their dog in the line otherwise this visit would have been a complete disaster.

Never one to leave a review but I felt this was necessary. My mother is unfortunately not doing well with her battle with stage 3 cancer. Right now, it’s the little things that mean the world to her and for right now, it seems to be the same for me as well. Tonight my mother was craving one of her favorites, Rita’s! When I got to the window and gave my order to the woman working (large vanilla custard with chocolate sprinkles and a cone on the side) she asked me very politely, if the order was for me? I replied saying no, it was for my mother. She then asked me if I was sure I didn’t want anything and even though it was very hard to say no “on a diet” I did and told her nope, just the custard! She proceeded to put 2 cones and 2 spoons in the bag, packed it so nicely and then told me that I am a good son and that my mom is lucky to have me. I don’t need any recognition for what I do for my mom, but let me tell you when you are at your lowest and a complete stranger shows genuine kindness and compassion it hits different! Thank you for making my day, (I should have gotten your name!) woman at Rita’s! Please continue to spread the love ❤️ And as usual… the custard was top notch, she ate it all!
