Just moved to the area recently. Was craving Chinese food was nervous to try a new spot but figured to give it a shot. Called, the guy was very nice whoever answered the phone. Went to pick up the phone and it was done within 15 minutes. Food was hot and fresh. I got a little bit of everything. Didn’t like so much of the beef I got with the broccoli. Tried a piece and tasted little weird. Everything else was delicious. I got egg/shrimp roll, vegetable fried and white rice, beef and broccoli and the sesame chicken was very good. I would recommend ordering from here and eating the food. The prices were reasonable as well. Happy with their service.

These guys deliver fast. I must have waited less than 10 minutes, I was amazed.
I ordered the general tso lunch special with an egg roll, and the szechuan beef dinner combo with egg drop soup. The egg roll was… Well it was an egg roll. Tasted fresh, average size, my only complaint is that there’s no way there was meat in that thing. It was just a fried cabbage dumpling. The egg drop soup was about what you’d expect, nothing special there. It WAS incredibly hot though, all of the food was freshly cooked and steaming hot. The portions were… Not good, however. My dinner beef dish was smaller than my friend’s lunch general tso chicken. And nearly 3 dollars more expensive.
The Szechuan beef… Isn’t. It’s Mongolian without the seeds or nuts. There’s broccoli and baby corn and green bell peppers (I actively hate green bell peppers, szechuan beef doesn’t usually come with them), mushrooms, there’s no heat, I hope this was a mistake because this isn’t even on the same planet as Szechuan beef. It’s like 4 pieces of beef in some brown sauce with vegetables. Also, the fried rice? There are no vegetables. I got the pork, it’s literally just pork and rice. I wouldn’t have ordered it if I knew that was the case.
The general Tso’s chicken is ok. Good sauce, clearly pre-frozen chicken, it’s serviceable enough for random lunch takeout. Overall, though? I was excited because of this place’s high rating, and wanted to try it because Xin China Garden is apparently too cool to deliver lunch on weekdays. Won’t be doing this restaurant again, I can’t believe I spent 26 bucks on this. Even for a carbon copy us style Chinese food place, this is mediocre at best.

The pork fried rice was bland as was the beef fried rice. The steamed dumplings filling had little flavor. The hot and sour soup was neither.
I was sad because I really liked this restaurant

Only 3 stars because my combination dinner came with a wonton egg drop soup and there was no wontons in the soup. The rest of the food was okay..my other complaint is the broccoli in garlic sauce was soggy and watery. There was more water than broccoli.

In terms of taste and quality of the food itself 5 stars. but unfortunately like many Chinese restaurants. they have small egg rolls. that are almost the size of springrolls. really wish I would have gotten the soup. with the combination platter. the platter itself is about half what I’m used to. At almost every place I’ve eaten soup soda combination platter came to 14. Got an order of shrimp toast with meal almost $5 tasted good. but again half the size I’m used to seeing at almost every Chinese restaurant.

The kid and the woman were very nice and polite at the front when I ordered, including the rest of the staff. I’ve went here many times and mostly, the place is very clean, and the chairs and tables were nicely placed out. This place deserves the best!

Absolutely inedible. We usually go to HUNAN GARDEN in Briarcliff but wanted to try this place. I don’t know how they stay in business. I had beef chop suey (disgusting ),my husband had chicken with broccoli (tasteless) we also ordered fried chicken wings (dry and flavorless). Even our dogs didn’t want to eat the food. We wasted our money and threw out the food.

I went there for a lunch special, and ordered sweet and sour chicken, white rice, and an egg roll. They gave me hardly any sauce for the chicken and not to mention the sweet and sour sauce was cold, and the egg roll was hard and cold. They clearly pre-fried all of the egg rolls and let them sit out. I am highly disappointed and will not be going back there again.

Always the best and freshest food. Great service.
Only a few tables if you’re eating in. Our favorite Chinese restaurant in town.

This is my favorite quick Chinese in the area, my go-to for sure! Everything is light and cooked perfectly – never heavy or greasy. Their wonton soup tastes almost like wine. Love them!
