The frontage of the restaurant is still in the process of being finished and the signage isn’t front and center – however, for a restaraunt in a small town, this was a pleasant surprise! I was happy about the selections, variety of options, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. My biggest critique is flavor, flavor, flavor. The beans and the meat needed flavor. Use the meat juice with a heavily salted stock to make the beans, and pour back on the meat. If the flavor could increase, my takeout would increase as well. Lots of potential here, and the prices (though not shown on their menu) were very reasonable.

The service is as bad as I’ve seen. Always unhappy and I asked for a different type of meat in my burrito and wait staff told me cook wouldn’t understand how to do it. I give up. Tried this place too many times. Keeps getting worse.

Los Altos is always a good bet. The food is typical Mexican fare. They do a good job with it. The food is hot and portions good sized. Service is generally good. As a smaller restaurant they can occasionally get overwhelmed, but as long as you’re patient, this isn’t a problem. Prices are fair and what I would expect ($30 after tip without drinks for two) at any other place like this.

There’s always room for improvement. The service wasn’t very friendly. There were four of us and two got there meal twelve minutes before the other two. We didn’t get drinks until after the last two people got their food. They need to hire people who smile, are not rude to customers, and maybe serve fresh chips. Madrid’s Mexican restaurant is hard to beat.

Every time I order from this location, I am more disappointed each time. The food is just not good. It’s thrown together in the containers, containers are smashed and disorganized. Half the time the order is wrong or missing items. Staff are unfriendly. The cashier demanded that I leave a tip for a take out order – for which I was only able to eat half of my food because the rest looked completely unappealing. Go to the Stuart location or order a pizza!
