Vesta Rooftop Kitchen is one of those places that continues to impress me every time I visit. I’m always amazed by how good the food is. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared.

One of the things I really enjoy about Vesta is the rooftop setting. It has a great atmosphere and gives the space a fun, relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for brunch or a casual outing with friends. The rooftop area feels lively and unique, especially during nice weather.

Their brunch menu is excellent and offers a great variety of options. Whether you’re in the mood for something savory or something a little sweeter, there are plenty of great choices. It’s definitely a spot I look forward to visiting when I’m craving a good brunch.

The staff are also very friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Service is attentive and the team always makes you feel comfortable.

Overall, Vesta Rooftop Kitchen is a great place for delicious food, a great brunch menu, and a fun rooftop atmosphere. I always enjoy coming back.

Vesta was wonderful! I came with a couple friends for Sunday brunch and I will definitely be back to try dinner sometime. The restaurant is lovely with such a cute atmosphere. My biggest gripe is that it was a little hard to find the entrance, I actually went through La Zingara but thankfully the bartender there sent me the right way.
The restaurant is small but very cozy and clean looking.
The brunch is pre fixe and I ordered a Bellini and later tried their passionfruit rooftop seltzer. Both drinks were huge! The seltzer in particular was really nice and I would like to try the other flavors. For starters, my friends had the salad while I opted for the soup of the day (corn chowder). They were all very nice.

For our mains, I went with the chicken and waffles, while my friends ordered the sweet potato skillet and the breakfast pizza (minus the sausage). Everything looked fantastic! The only hiccup was that the pizza came out a bit undercooked, but our waitress was super accommodating and happily brought it back a few minutes later — the second time, it was perfect. The chicken and waffles were amazing! It had a good sized piece of boneless breast with a nice crunchy well seasoned crust sandwiched between two waffles with this wonderful bacon jam. The waffles on their own were very sweet, almost like they were crusted with sugar. But when eaten together with the chicken and bacon jam it was perfect. My friends also loved their dishes. The breakfast pizza was huge (she took half home!) and the crust was great, while the sweet potato skillet was hearty and flavorful.
The only weak spot of the meal was the dessert course. I had the Nutella crepe, and my friend had the chocolate gelato (the only other option was vanilla; no sorbet that day). The crepe was very disappointing. It was small, cold, and didn’t taste fresh. It just felt thrown together and barely had any nutella. The gelato was better, though I thought it was a bit icy in texture.

Overall, I really loved the vibe here and thought the food was great. It’s a charming little spot that would make a wonderful date or special occasion restaurant. I’m already looking forward to coming back for dinner sometime!

I visited Bethel for a few hours yesterday (a Saturday), just to walk around and see all the cute shops, etc. I was drawn to this spot purely because it was on a rooftop, and then absolutely LOVED it. The outside of the building leads you to believe nothing much is happening, and the restaurant downstairs seems like any basic Italian-American joint in a small town that everybody’s parents would go to for “date night.” But, climb the mesmerizing floral-painted stairwell to the roof, and you’re a world apart.

It’s encased in windows, so the lighting is excellent (at least at 4pm-ish in early March) and there’s just enough tables to ensure the small space doesn’t feel too crowded. The service was capital-E Excellent—casual, but totally polite, and attentive without being annoying. The kitchen (which has a wood oven) is separated by a screen, so you can feel the heat coming off if you’re seated close enough (nice for the 40-degree day I visited) and smell the many, many delicious things cooking. The menu had many veg-based options, which are by far my favorite things to eat, plus a wide variety of appetizer-y things, handhelds and pizzas, all of which seemed well conceived. I had a difficult time choosing what to eat, but ultimately had the Butternut Dip (which was some incredible blend of whipped butternut squash, roasted garlic and chickpeas, sort of like a hummus situation) and roasted Brussels sprouts with honey-goat cheese and pancetta. Both were sensational. My date just ordered fries (they have many fry options!) and they were crispy-but-soft, perfectly cooked. 10 out of 10, would go again.

Went here for brunch with some friends and ate at the rooftop. It was slow when we arrived because we ate at an off time but that made it better because it was such a nice atmosphere to chat and relax. By far some of the best things I’ve ever eaten. It was $27 for an appetizer, main course, and dessert which I thought was a great price. You won’t be leaving here hungry! I would definitely come here again.

The place is super nice and cozy and the people really friendly.

The menu has several good options, it was difficult to choose what pizza I wanted all look delicious.

We order the ceviche appetizer and believe me if you like ceviches you need to have it.

We also got a simple burger done for my son, which was not in the menu (thank you!) a shroom attack pizza and prosciutto pizza. Finishing with coffee. Will be back for more ceviche for sure!

As a new Bethel resident this was my first time and it was the worst experience. It was so bad that I don’t think I would give it another try. I had reservations at 11:45am to catch-up with my best friend whom I haven’t seen in a year since I moved. Upon arrival, they said there’s no reservations made (didn’t seem a big deal because there was only one customer) they asked if it was downstairs. Being new and not knowing better, as I went downstairs they brought me back upstairs and the same waitress said “well they told me nothing” while taking a sip of her Starbucks beverage on the bar and gave us a table to sit. This was already my first clue this was about to be a bad experience.

Our service was terrible. Our food took forever and there was 2 other customers after us and they all were served with their orders first. How was that possible? All I ordered was an avocado smash which doesn’t take 2 hours to make. My guest had a stake with a couple of slices that doesn’t also take 2hrs to make. Our drinks of champagne was WARM and not even cold, I couldn’t believe I had to put ice cubes in a champagne glass. My food arrived late and it was cold, not even my pouched eggs were warm. It was already 2pm. I asked for the check and take my dessert to go which took them 30mins. I was pissed at that point that I hurried them to hurry up because it was 2:30pm. My desert was even more disappointing.

The atmosphere was hot and humid. I would not recommend at all. I felt like I was going have a heat stroke. The covers above us was see through and you can see how dirty with derbis.

I will not come back. It might not matter because they get a lot of customers. I even feel sorry to my best friend that this too was their first experience. What a shame.

Went for brunch and had a blast! I got the burger and added an egg and it was delicious. Our waitress was super attentive and helpful. (I’m not sure why some of our food items came out on paper plates as you can see in the picture but it was still a great experience)!

Save your time and your money. This place is awful.

We were seated right next to the kitchen, it was hot, and the smell was so overwhelming that it clung to my clothes. I’ll have to get my dress and jacket dry-cleaned after this.

The food was underwhelming and overpriced. The “salad” was nothing more than lettuce with two tiny tomatoes. The avocado smash was inedible, honestly shocking that someone could mess up avocado toast.

We ordered mimosas, and they were served warm. We actually had to put ice in them. My friend ordered a sangria, which arrived with a bug in it. Instead of replacing it promptly, the server launched into a long explanation of why their sangria has bugs in it.

To make matters worse, the server’s attitude was terrible—dismissive, with snarky remarks when we voiced fair concerns.

Overall: bad food, bad drinks, bad service. Save yourself the disappointment and go anywhere else.
