Great experience at this highly recommended shop just off Hermosa Beach Pier! The Gelato cups really filled us because they look small but wow do they stuff it full. Just look at the quantity, we had it dripping down the sides and had to eat it easy faster than intended. At this point I don’t even remember what flavors we had, but all three of them were absolutely special and creamy and delicious. 10/10 food, service, vibe and esthetic.

Had noticed this place earlier in the day and came here for dessert. I had mango and blood orange sorbet, and my wife had cheesecake and sea-salted caramel gelato. All flavors were yummy. Gelato and sorbet were creamy yet light. The staffer and the setting made for a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere.

Best ice cream in town!
For me as a European I find it very hard to find good ice cream in the US! That’s why I am so happy that I found this amazing place! Capri has real gelato like you can find it in Italy! The owner is Italian, that’s why he knows how to make real Italian gelato. The ice cream is so creamy and tasty! They make the ice cream fresh every day! You can see the factory through a window. They use very high quality ingredients and you can taste that! Also the service was very friendly every time I came around. They also let you sample some flavours. They have sorbet (vegan) and milk ice cream. The variety of flavours is big: they have the typical vanilla up to special flavours. They change the flavours all the time. And also the price is fair (regarding LA prices). I can really highly recommend Capri Gelato and will come back again soon!!

The Sicilian Affogato is literally the BEST thing I’ve ever had lol… life changing haha. Even better if you get it with the lighter hazelnut gelato. Worth every penny have come two days in a row for it! Great spot, amazing coffee here too!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a pleasant hello along with a pleasant smile!
The staff were not stingy at all with letting us taste different flavours making sure we could taste what ever one we wanted to try!
The coffee is amazing here. They did NOT skimp on the espresso machine!
Even the decor and design I have to say makes you feel like you have been transformed into a gelato store in Italy!!
