My bride and I were looking for a healthy place to eat after working out at Planet Fitness in Warsaw, and Pina & Coconut popped up nearby with a 4.9-star rating. We had never heard of it before, but decided to give it a try and I’m so glad we did.
This place exceeded our expectations in every way.
The food is unique, fresh, healthy, and absolutely incredible. The flavors are unlike anything else around honestly better than anywhere else you’ll go. You can tell everything is made with intention and quality, and the prices are very reasonable for how good the food is.
The environment was welcoming and warm, and what really stood out was that the owner personally came over, spent time with us, and genuinely got to know us. That level of care and hospitality is rare and made the experience even more special.
Whether you’re looking for a date night spot or great takeout, this place delivers. It’s different, memorable, and exactly the kind of local business worth supporting.

Pina & Coconut is an absolute gem for Caribbean food lovers and they have American as well. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was nothing short of excellent, rich, authentic flavors that clearly come from passion and skill in the kitchen. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of bold Caribbean soul.
What truly set the experience apart, though, was the service. The owner and chef personally came to our table to greet us, which made the evening feel incredibly special and personal. To top it all off, they surprised me with a special cake for my birthday, an unexpected and thoughtful gesture that meant so much.

Very good! Tried them for the first time at their new location on argonne rd and it did not disappoint! I’ve had Caribbean food at quite a few places around the country and their jerk chicken might be my new favorite Caribbean dish. The horchata was also excellent. Pictured is jerk chicken with rice and the fried jack chicken. A must stop if you’re in the area and like Caribbean food!

This was such a lovely food experience. My fiancé and I wanted to try something different and decided to give it a shot. We are so glad we did! The owner was very hospitable and a joy to talk to and helped us navigate the menu as we were new to this kind of cuisine. I got the jerk chicken with plantains and rice and my fiancé got the spicy shrimp with plantains and rice. Such a delightful explosion of Caribbean flavors and the most juicy chicken ever! I also had a pineapple and coconut drink that was simply divine and complemented the spicy food! We will definitely be returning and trying more things on the exciting menu!

I ordered the Caribbean Chicken for takeout, it was so delicious and well prepared. Big portion sizes. They even gave me a sample of soup while I waited for my to-go order. Highly recommend! Hopefully they get a big sign in front of the location soon so people won’t miss this tasty restaurant.

Jack chicken was perfect, a unique dish I hadn’t ever tried before. The complimentary soup and dessert were nice touches. The chef/owner came out and spoke with us since we came early enough that we were the first customers of the day. Appreciate his love for food and their attention to culinary details. What a unique and refreshing experience!
