Yum. I tried the plain cheese pizza. I love that the cheese isn’t a gloppy mess that falls off when you pick it up. Nice thin crunchy crust. Easy to order and pay online. Its the perfect NY style pizza IMO. $16 for a large is totally reasonable. I’ll definitely try their other pizzas soon.

We ordered from Luca Pizza through Doordash and had a great experience. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and sealed, which was a great first impression.

We tried the Trifecta Pizza, Cheese Pizza, Cajun Ranch Wings, and a Cheesesteak Stromboli, and each item was delicious. The Trifecta Pizza really stood out with its contrast of sauces that blended perfectly together. The wings had a light breading that was a bit unexpected but added an enjoyable texture and flavor. The Cheesesteak Stromboli was satisfying, and even the classic Cheese Pizza was a hit with our kids who commented on how “really good” it was.

Overall, Luca Pizza exceeded expectations. Everything tasted great and the quality was exceptional. We’re looking forward to ordering again soon and trying more items off the menu.

The New York style pizza is excellent. Nice thickness, savory sauce, the right amount of melty cheese. The pepperoni cups were perfectly crisp. Not greasy and tasted great.

You Need To Know? Restaurant reviews
You Need To Know? Arrived around 6 on a Friday night. Seating is very limited as this was more of a take out place than an eat in. We ordered the cheese steak Stromboli ( fresh, very good), a large mighty meats pizza & a trifecta square pizza. The trifecta was gramma sauce, vodka sauce, & pesto sauce. The pizza was very good & worth a try if your in the West Pittston area looking for take out. The bonus of eating in though was the fact they pushed our order to the front since we were eating in. All other pizza orders were over an hour out from pick up. Now You Know! -TBH

Got a few slices to go and they were absolutely amazing. Came out piping hot. Loved the plain cheese pizza. My son loves the sweet sauce. We also split a piece of chicken wing pizza and its now one of my new favorite places for chicken wing! Very good dough and crust.

There is limited parking and you can’t park on any of the streets surrounding the reataurant. I had to go around the block in order to “try” to find a spot to pickup my pizza. I got frustrated and just parked in the middle of the lot blocking the entrance and the three cars already parked…I had no choice.

Food: The pizza looks amazing. The sauces on the pizzas were delicous. I especially like the pesto. However, the dough of the pizza is chewy in a negative way. I had to rip the pizza with force with every bite I took. The best way I can explain it is, it’s like biting into cardboard.

If they can fix the dough, this pizza could be all around delicous.

Absolutely delicious pizza! The crust is the foundation of greatness, and then add the fresh sauce and toppings…amazing.
The Angels and Demons Pizza was on point.

Flip the script with cup n’ char
Disclaimer: I HATE PEPPERONI ON PIZZA…. Or at least, I did….I was worried writing that alone might get me booted, but I have to update that stance after having Luca Pizza in West Pittston.

I’m hooked on cup and char pepperoni (haven’t tried cup and char sausage yet) and the flavor sans grease. I’ve seen it used at a couple places around here, and I know Tony Cerimele is a fan based on his recent pop-up in the Electric City.  I’m not even sure what I ordered or what I was looking at on that individual slice, because it seemed unique for the day; cup and char pepperoni, basil and not sure if it’s their creamy mozzarella or ricotta but it had goat cheese-like creaminess vibes, and I mean that in the best way!

We also got the 16″ New York style round cheese pizza with sweet sauce and garlic knots; I can’t say it’s better than Angelo’s or Gerry’s, particularly because I was late picking up and three hungry kids made for a fun ride to the pool from there, but it was a crowd pleaser. Pretty standard plain with sweet sauce, would definitely order for regular party fair and pleasing a variety of guests. Garlic knots were fresh, plump and full of flavor but not obnoxiously soaked; best ones I’ve had in awhile.

I ate it under this tree, it was nice. I really wanna get back for the garlic knot sliders, Brooklyn pan, Angels N Demons specialty and their trifecta of sauces offered on a few pies, but overall a great stop.

Reviewing not only because I enjoy the food but because the 1 star someone provided is ridiculous. Ratings matter to small businesses and to give this place a 1 star review over parking and a crust that is a little too chewy for their liking is so silly.

Pizza is delicious and a great addition to West Pittston. I had just returned from Rome and the crust on the grandmother’s pizza is similar to the pizza al taglio I had in Rome (Bonci specifically). Glad they’re here and wishing for continued success!
