Such an amazing bakery! I am happy to get out of bed a little earlier on the weekends to ensure that I am able to take home their delicious treats! They always have the best cinnamon rolls, and I love that the menu switches up and keeps things interesting. If you gave this place anything less than 5 stars you have bad taste and it really shows. 🙂

Always sublimely delicious.
Biggest problem is they sell out and close early! Second biggest problem is they’re only open three days (mornings really) a week. I plan my appointments in Wallingford for Friday mornings so I can stop by the bakery before or after. (It’s not really a problem. I appreciate their dedication to freshness. It’s just a bummer for me!)

This bakery is beyond amazing. They have delicious pastries and assorted baked goods! Really great quality food. They do offer coffee but it’s not the place for specialty lattes/drinks etc if that’s what you’re looking for (you should still stop in though!). I reached out for a custom cake for my son and I was blown away! I gave Chelsea some parameters and we got a yellow cake with apple filling and cinnamon crumb! Delicious. And look at this remote! It looks so real. My son was obsessed and immediately tried to eat it LOL 100% recommend

Absolutely outstanding product! Chelsea and Co work their tails off to produce some of the best pastry I’ve had, and they do it with a fantastic attitude. The Guava Cheese Danish is my “every day” favorite, but the creative touch they add to the Menu every week makes for the most fun “what should we get this time?!” experience! I only wish that I lived closer/didn’t work the main hours so I could get there more. From one baker to another, truly wonderful work, y’all.

We had such a wonderful experience with Kouign Bakery for our wedding cake! From the tasting to the final product, everything was absolutely perfect. The tasting itself was amazing — all the flavors were delicious, and we had such a hard time choosing because everything was so good. In the end, we went with a chocolate almond cake with raspberry and fudge filling, finished with a vanilla bean buttercream — and it was just as incredible on the wedding day as we remembered.
Chelsea was so accommodating and willing to bring our vision to life. She even beautifully placed the fresh flowers from our florist on the cake, and it looked stunning. We’ve saved the top tier and are already looking forward to enjoying it on our one-year anniversary.

I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about Kouign if I tried. Every single item I’ve ever had from Kouign has somehow been even more delicious than the last as they constantly outdo themselves. I’ve gotten holiday preorders and those are always handled in a really easy way and never disappoint. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. Kouign is easily one of my favorite small businesses and one that I love to support as often as I can.

The most amazing pastries!!! They serve very unique options. Go early, they sell out quickly. Pastrami and swiss croissants, also plain, chocolate, guava and cheese, cinnamon buns, quiche, cookies, and some others. Some are changed from week to week. They aren’t inexpensive but so worth every penny.

Just wow. One pastry was better than the next. We went early Saturday morning just after 8:00 and it wasn’t busy. The cases were full and they were still bringing more freshly baked pastries about of the back. I got a box with a classic Cinnabon, chocolate croissant, guava and cheese croissant, ham and cheese croissant, and coffee cake muffin. Everything was absolutely delicious. Truly some of the best I’ve ever had. There is a self-serve coffee station but no other coffee or espresso beverages. You come here strictly for the baked goods. (Go down the street to Green Kettle Coffee for a latte.) Get here early and check their Instagram – They do sell out and close early, especially on weekends.

Can’t say enough good things about this incredible bakery! The pastries and scones especially are easily the best I’ve had, anywhere. Love that there is always something new to try. Go early for the best selection, but you really can’t make a wrong choice here!
