The place just opened up today and had a great experience. The burger was really good and so was the jalapeno poppers. I don’t know how the server did it but she did a great job keeping up with everyone in the bar. Look forward to seeing what specials they will have in the future.

Derek’s bar was great, took the motorcycles out and grabbed some food, prime rib sandwich was the bomb and the cheddar jalepeno poppers were amazing. Derek is super friendly, outgoing and definitely in the right field. Would highly recommend this place.

Some friends asked my wife and I to join them on an ATV ride to Derek’s to get lunch. This was our first visit, but it won’t be our last. The service was slow (only a bartender and a cook working), but the short wait for it to be our turn (there were 5-6 other ATV’er that had arrived just ahead of us) was worth it. The burger that I had (The Wumbo) was delicious, and the drinks were cold! Everyone in my group had different food items, and we all agreed the item we got were delicious.

This is a great place to visit after or during a day of riding the trails. The food is great- try the cheese curds! There were two pups that greeted us and everyone was very friendly.

Pretty standard northwoods style bar and restaurant with bar and food service in one big area. Being a bit older, the place was a bit loud, and that accounts for the somewhat lower overall rating. Pizza was surprisingly good (NOT a reheated frozen job).

Nice little bar. Great burger and beer. I like beer. Had the fish dinner to go another time and i recommend. Very good fish fry. Bar remodeled since the last time i was there. Great job! Doesn’t smell like cigarette smoke anymore!!
