This was my first time trying this spot and I was very impressed. The food was amazing— I ordered the oxtail, rice and peas, and mac and cheese, and everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The customer service was also great, making the experience even better. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal.

The place was nice and service was good but the food is mid at best. I had the oxtails and beef patties; oxtails were flavorless and beef patties taste like the frozen ones you get from the grocery store. Great people but whats the point of Jamaican food with no flavor? Wouldn’t recommend to my friends.

This was a spur of the moment visit. We went to Philly expecting to go to another Jamaican restaurant that I love, but they were closed.
This was a 2nd choice because Hubz had been here before.
The restaurant was located in a busy block, but we found parking easily.
The service was great. The employee at the counter was polite and made sure he had our order correct.
We waited about 7 minutes for our 4 platters.
They all came out hot and fresh. As we waited, I noticed several employees in the back scrubbing equipment and cleaning pots and pans. They were very clean inside the small restaurant.
Lastly, I ordered us a few beef patties to eat on the ride home.
The four platters, 2 beef patties, and a drink came up to about $85, which isn’t bad.
The food was good! Not the best Jamaican food I’ve had, but no complaints. I’d go back as my 2nd choice for Jamaican. I give a 4.3 out of 5.

GO TO KENSINGTON 11 This place is just nasty I paid $21 for cabbage! You can tell they cut two oxtails in half and tried to serve it! I have a ton of cabbage and only 2 oxtails that been cut to try and make 4! I will never eat from here again not worth the price at all! $21 for a lot of cabbage. And don’t get me started on that dry cheese less mac n cheese it just noodles with cheese on top. If y’all can’t afford to serve oxtail properly take it off the menu! Y’all cheap and rude on top of it! Do better! Go to Kensington 11 you won’t regret it or even Ron’s at Olney even Jamaican D’s is better

From what I could taste the rice was overcooked and my sides were drenched by the main. The packaging was sloppy and they do not pay attention to details or their customers. I ordered my food and made sure to add a note about my allergies so separate the food and ordered an additional side. They FORGOT the side and ignored the note so my meal arrived in one big leaking, messy mixed up package that I could not even eat. I will never be ordering from this establishment ever. Again.

Don’t order from Top taste through DoorDash!!!! They will steal your money!!! They added an additional charge of 14 dollars for gravy, and as I looked back on my past orders I realized that they been adding on additional charges for no reason! Love the food but they just lost an loyal customer

Always cancels my order on DoorDash cause they don’t have what I want like just go on the app and mark it as out of stock! Now I have to wait 3 days to get $40 back AGAIN! forget this place man.
