A Divine Canine
Cozy local go to place for awesome food and tasty brews. I was better right away and asked if I needed water for my dog. Outdoor seating street side is dog friendly with tall tables and umbrellas for shade.
I had the Veggie Chili and Roll Me One with a flight of 4 amazing beers. The Veggie Chili blew my mind and was super tasty with just the right amount of spice. The Roll Me One is served sushi style with chopsticks and a fortune cookie.
Awesome vibe and fantastic service! The owners are a husband and wife team and they really care about their customers. There’s a reason they have such a high rating.♥️

Everything about Tapped is a treat – it’s sweet to sit inside at the bar talking with the lovely owners, or tucked away in the cozy/creative nooks and crannies, and of course there’s always outside when the weather allows! The food is so good and the menu offers a variety of things to entice anyone. Definitely a gem found in Longview.

Tapped Roots has an incredibly inviting atmosphere. Jessie took care of my husband and I, alongside our friend yesterday, and the service was fantastic. Very personable bar, the environment was calm and welcoming—and VERY clean. I think this is the cleanest bar in town that I’ve been to. The current drink menu is excellent, with various tasty brews. I enjoyed their hazy pale ale and their raspberry cider. And we tried their chili mac and cheese, which was delicious! Real food, real drinks, real vibes. 10/10

A finely curated selection of great beers. The owner is obviously passionate about what he serves, and very welcoming. We had a cheese and charcuterie platter, and all the ingredients were top notch.

My wife and I decided to go here last night after look for some vegan options for her and found they had chilli. Let me tell you my wife is a picky eater and she absolutely loved the chilli. I got the nachos and there was definitely enough for 2, the natchos were also amazing they look just like the picture highly recomend. They had a wide variety of ipa’s. The atmosphere in this place is very cozy, who ever picked the music has great taste to. I think Jesse was our bartender and he was super cool and seemed to be very genuin. I highly recommend this place for a date night especially if you or your significant other is vegan or vegetarian.

As someone who doesn’t usually drink, it’s so nice to have a safe fun place to go when I want to go out! I hate 99% of alcohol but they always have some amazing fruity beer on tap that I could drink all night! Honestly, I go for the food though! Tapped Roots is my favorite!

Great little bar, and go on weds night, they have delicious homemade soup. I had their African peanut soup and it was fantastic.

**Updated** Terrible experience. I decided to never come back after the owner was incredibly rude to me when I visited with my partner at the start of COVID. We visited quite a number of times before this incident. They were new to the area and it was a weird time with the pandemic and we wanted to support. We were incredibly supportive given all of this and thought they were nice people but we were very wrong.
I regret not speaking up when this happened, so that is why I decided to post this review now.
After he practically yelled at me and crouched down to get in my face in an attempt to intimidate me as the woman as soon as we walked in and proceeded to go on about how he’d be dealing with a $10,000 fine because we walked in without our masks on initially, we were shocked and walked out. A different approach would have been appropriate in this situation. We’re not the type of people to engage in others hostility and quite frankly could tell people like this owner aren’t worth it. It was however incredibly unprofessional and uncalled for and will not be tolerated. Not sure what makes you think you have the right to treat others that way. As customers who are keeping your doors open and food on your table, especially as a new establishment just starting out that was one bold move. People should know that their friendly attitude is just for show and that they’re actually quite disrespectful. If you’re going to call someone out for not wearing a mask, maybe consider that you weren’t wearing one either…pretty hypocritical. Typical passive aggressive Portlanders infiltrating what was once a lovely area.
