Was taking the back roads from Charleston back to Columbia and stopped in the small town of North, South Carolina. Why, you may ask? Well, the second location of La Cienega is there on Main St.
Same great menu and food. While they do not have tequila, they do serve beer and wine. Lots of street parking. The Salsa Bar is stocked and has 8-10 freshly prepared salsas.
I had a Modelo Negro and Pollo Ranchero, a grilled chicken entre’ served with Charro Beans, Red Rice & Guacamole Salad. Had a really nice char pattern and grill flavor.
Go to the crossroads of Hwy’s 321 & 6 and grab a table at La Cienega.

Who knew that North, SC was hiding such a great place to eat. Let me say if you’re looking for a place to kick back and enjoy some delicious food. Head to La Cienega Mexican Grill. The food was well seasoned and you will enjoy their salsa bar. Come and check it out. You will not be disappointed.

The salsa bar had a few combos I haven’t seen before, like a pineapple salsa.
Lots of street style tacos too!
But I had chicken and shrimp covered in cheese. It was very good.

People! They have a Salsa Bar!!! Well worth the drive to North, SC. They are accommodating to large groups with reservations, if available, on special occasions. Staff is amazing and communicates very well! We love this restaurant!!!
