Perfectly seasoned and fried catfish. The woman at the front was patient when explaining the difference between a plate and sandwich. She estimated a 10 minute wait time and the food came out exactly 10 minutes later. I was visiting the area for a quick day trip, but I hope I can eat here again soon

Stopped by Granny’s Fish ’N Grits and ordered the fish and grits — and it absolutely delivered. The fish was seasoned just right, crispy on the outside and tender inside. The grits were creamy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the fish. You can tell this is comfort food done with care and pride.
Portion size was solid, everything tasted fresh, and the flavors felt like real Southern cooking. Definitely worth the drive, and I’ll be back to try more items on the menu.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food that hits the soul.

I would definitely recommend this food truck 10/10. I’m from Mississippi so its hard to find authentic fish and grits. This place truly amazed me. The fish was well seasoned and the grits came with cheese and were very creamy. The red beans and rice were flavorful. The customer service was good and the women was very helpful.

This place was amazing. Had the grits bowl with shrimp and sausage along with a catfish plate. From the first bite, the fact that I didn’t have to season the grits was a HUGE plus. Then the sausage and shrimp was seasoned well and cooked perfect. The catfish was also seasoned and cooked perfectly for my taste. I was so pleased with this experience and the wait wasn’t long at all. This would be my first choice in Birmingham for Fish and Grits. Will definitely be frequenting this again.

The food was good and cooked to order in a reasonable amount of time (10 minutes) I had the catfish plate with grits and okra. The prices are just a little high for what you get. I paid $12 for 1 piece of catfish grits and okra. Its about $17 for 2 pieces and 2 sides.
