The first thing I asked myself when I walked into the restaurant was where the bathroom was, only to learn it was tucked away behind the kitchen, which was kind of unusual. However the sushi and chicken that I ordered was very unique compared to other sushi places. The miso soup was very strong and the service was somewhat slow. The lighting and overall atmosphere give off a “cafeteria” vibe instead of a restaurant vibe. Overall, not a bad sushi place.

I’ve been eating sushi with the family that owns this restaurant for close to 25 years and to this day count this as one of the best Asian fusion and sushi restaurants in the country. Originally the owners of Fuji on the border of Westfield and Garwood, the son Yao is now head chef and owner of this pleasant little bistro and his ability to display food and create award-winning tastes goes unmatched. The attention to each and every dish is astounding and the delicious teas they serve compliment the fresh rolls, fish, and other assorted delectables. Today he surprised me with a chicken Parmesan roll which was an Italian lovers dream. Do your best to go on off peak times and if you want you can order online or by phone. This is THE place to go for yummy, moderately priced, and a casual dining experience. Only drawback is the place can get very loud so as I stated earlier, eat off peak or order online. Yao, keep it up!

We love Fusion D’lite! Especially my younger teen. They know her by first name. The food is great and the atmosphere is amazing!You come with greetings and after you eat leave with warm Thank you from the owner. He will make sure everything taste awesome.

Hands down the best sushi in the area. If you don’t like sushi, there are dozens of delicious, inspired, Asian Fusion dishes to try.
All the servers are super friendly and helpful. We’ve never had a problem with complicated or custom orders. They do get backed up on Friday or Saturday evening, so order as early as you can. It’s worth the wait for quality meals.

My wife’s and my favorite sushi spot. Favorite roll is the Suicide Roll, specialty roll not usually on special menu but they make it anyway. Staff is friendly and food is great! Also don’t for get the lemon tea and/or they have bubble tea too

My family and I have been going here for years for their consistently fresh and delicious sushi!! Because we’ve never been disappointed, when it was time to choose a caterer for my party, I decided to go with them and I am so glad I did!! The owner, Yao, created a wonderful menu which we customized for my event and offered to provide servers as well (Samantha & Michael who were so attentive and wonderful to everyone). You could tell Yao is so passionate about the food he prepares, how he prepares and presents it. He even showed up to my party early in the evening to ensure that everything was perfectly presented, and it was!! To add to it, at the end of the night, he stopped by again to prepare espresso shots with gold flakes on top (to match my theme)!! Every bite of sushi was delectable and the food was so tasty!! Thank you for making it such a delicious dinner!
