Usually when you go to an Asian restaurant you expect to see Asian staff. But here, nobody is Asian, everyone is Jewish. The food is acceptable and the prices are a bit high; the menu isn’t very extensive or varied. I arrived at lunchtime and didn’t have to wait since I was served very quickly; there was no one else there.

This is not Chinese food. The food wasn’t bad, but it isn’t Chinese at all. Maybe Chinese inspired, but def not what you think of when you order Chinese.
Also the pricing is insane. I originally thought I was getting an order of chicken, an order of rice plus the egg roll based on the price but when I picked up, it was literally what the old owner sold as the dinner special, minus the soup and egg roll for DOUBLE the price. If I wanted a side of white rice it was $5 more! No words.
The food may be ok, but this is definitely not Bamboo Kitchen and it should not be advertised as a Chinese restaurant.

This is easily the absolute worst “Chinese food” I’ve ever had the misfortune of eating. The egg drop soup was disgusting and the worst soup I’ve ever had. It also has a funky bad and downright off-putting smell. I didn’t think anything could be worse until I tried the sesame chicken. The chicken was basically over fried and tough enough to be inedible. We ordered enough food for a while family and everyone is complaining how disgusting, tough, and outright gross this food is. This restaurant should be ashamed at the lack of quality of this food. I will never eat here ever again, and I beg any one contemplating eating here to read my review and eat literally anywhere else.

I don’t understand the 5 star reviews. There is a limited menu as opposed to the previous owner.
The food was tasteless, and fried rice and honey chicken were soggy. There is nothing 9″Chinese” about this restaurant. The prices are high to pay for the renovations, and they only use Uber eats, which charges at least 5 more dollars per meal. I spent over $100.00 for food I’m extremely disappointed in. I used to by from the old owners every 2 weeks. I will never buy here again. Save your money.

As a native New Yorker, My standards for kosher Chinese are quiet high. Bamboo kitchen met and exceeded expectations. The food was incredible, the prices fair, with generous portions. We will definitely come again!

The staff is very nice. The food (ordered 2 beef and 2 chicken dishes plus an order of wings) was all overcooked and tough. The portions were large but all tasted the same and were so tough. Disappointed.

Bamboo Kitchen is an absolute gem for kosher Chinese cuisine lovers! From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for the exquisite experience. The highlight of my visit was the General Tso’s Chicken. Every bite was sensational. Highly recommend!

What an incredible find! This kosher Chinese spot in Hollywood is truly a gem. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Every dish we tried was a hit, from the crispy sesame chicken to the perfectly cooked lo mein. The portions were generous, and everything came out hot and beautifully plated.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. It’s not always easy to find quality kosher Chinese food, but this place really gets it right. Highly recommend for anyone in the area—can’t wait to come back!

Mediocre food. Probably should have got twice the amount of food for the price! $23.98 with tip for what you see in the picture…probably not going back to this place. Its a shame because i live right around the corner. Lower your prices and learn how to cook Chinese and i will come back
