Visited this place after having a heavy sashimi dinner nearby.
Ordered a variety of pastries to go.
Blueberry muffin: love blueberry muffin, this was delicious.
Pecan tart: delicious and just the right sweetness for me.
Apple square: first time having one, something different.
Cheese Danish: a bit firm, on the dry side, and not too sweet.
Red velvet muffin: dry – a little rough texture in the mouth, a little on the bland, small hint of bitterness.
This is probably because it was late in the day. Would love to come back and try it again earlier when products are fresher.

As a university student, I’m always on the lookout for quiet, cozy spots to study — and Rana Café in Lorton has quickly become my go-to place. The atmosphere is perfect: calm, clean, and welcoming, with comfortable seating and a peaceful vibe that makes it easy to focus. Their coffee is excellent, rich, smooth, and just what I need to power through long study sessions. I especially love their mocha frappe and Turkish coffee. The food is just as impressive. I’ve tried their mango mousse cake, tres leches, and baklava; all fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It’s the kind of place where you can treat yourself while getting work done. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. They always greet you with a smile and make sure you’re comfortable, which adds to the overall experience. Whether I’m cramming for finals or just catching up on assignments, Rana Café offers the perfect balance of productivity and relaxation. Highly recommend for students or anyone looking for a peaceful spot with great coffee and delicious treats!

Every time I come here the baristas are sooo sweet, and personable, and are also so very helpful. I have food allergies and they always go above and beyond to accommodate me. The employees truly set the vibe here. I love hanging out before or after going to the gym next door. Great little community chill spot, here in Woodbridge. Stop in and support this local biz!

A warm genuine smile makes all the difference. Sitting in the corner of a large shopping strip is Rana Cafe. The shop was clean and neat. What I remember most was the lady at the counter. She was kind and had a beautiful smile. We talked a little about the weather and what a cortado was. It wasn’t on the menu and she was not familiar with it, but she was willing to try to make the drink. I think she did a pretty decent job.

The bakery items are all incredible. Tried the rice pudding and the mango mousse cake. But off the charts delicious. It was too late to try to espresso based drinks but I will definitely be back to do so! They have a proper coffee setup that I’m excited to try.

I took my family to Ranas cafe after lunch because we were craving dessert and coffee. It was our first time there and we loved it! We had a caramel latte, cheese danish and a small tiramisu cake, everything was delicious and fresh. We’ll definitely be coming back!
