We may not be under the Tuscan sun, but sunrise and sunset in the Rockies remind us of that rarefied golden light. Rich, flavorful olive oil. Worldly wines with stories to tell. Fresh baked, butter kissed bread. This is our Italian kitchen, and we look forward to welcoming you soon.

Amazing dinner and drink experience. Every bite was an amazing discovery into a new palate of delicious flavor. Spencer was so knowledgeable and guided us through the menu… OMG We had to order two desserts. Don’t miss out on the bison carpaccio 11/10

I went in last night to celebrate my birthday. Our waitress was really great! The glass of wine was maybe 3 and 1/2 oz, very tiny for the price. The beef carpaccio was delicious, but you couldn’t see the meat under the cheese. The parmesan had a really great flavor however. Same with the endive celery pear salad, covered in cheese, couldn’t see what you were eating, but it was still tasty. The veal scallopine had poor flavor, however the greens on the side were well seasoned and complimented the meat, but the meat tasted like oil. I only ate half so I could have room for dessert. They gave me a free dessert. The lemon zabaglione was good. The cafe amaro flip espresso liqueur drink had very little foam. Any drink made with egg white should have a nice fat layer of foam. Later that night I was hungry and reheated my veal and finished it, adding a little fresh tomato and balsamic drizzle. I woke up with my stomach feeling very gross from all the oil in the veal, I had even taken a paper towel and patted it down before eating it. I had been looking forward to ordering the braised lamb shank but they were all out and I wish I had been able to enjoy that instead on my birthday. For a nice fine dining restaurant and me being in the industry for 30 years, I would give the food maybe a 7 out of 10 at most flavor wise, the veal maybe a 4 out of 10, presentation a 3 out of 10, The drinks a 4 out of 10. For such a nice dining room, I really hope that they do some quality control, work on their presentation, as well as their drink size, portion, and preparation. Also watching the entire dining room. I did not see the manager go and check on any of the tables which is what I’m used to seeing in a nicer place. I hope this helps somebody with their dining choices. Not a bad place, but from what I experienced, it would be hard to go back when there’s so many other restaurants in Colorado Springs to choose from. From. Once again, I do want to mention that our server was really nice, professional, answered all her questions, and she would be the only reason I would go back at this point.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Oro. Our server, Juan – was incredibly friendly and attentive. This was quite possibly the best meal I’ve had since living in the Springs. The ambience is charming, romantic, modern, and well thought out. Everything was incredible from start to finish. The star of the night was definitely the Bolognese!! Never have I experienced something so decadent! We can’t wait to come back.

My first visit to Oro was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was great, but the service really stood out. Our server, Spencer, went above and beyond to help us navigate the menu. Since it was our first time, we weren’t sure what to order, but his recommendations for food pairings were spot on. The Papardelle Lamb Ragú was out of this world. We will definitely be coming back again!

This was our first visit for my birthday. Spencer and Crystal took great care of us. I had the spicy peach mocktail and my husband had the Fluer di lis for drinks, for apps we had the focaccia and olives and for dinner I had the veal scapollini and my husband has the frutti di mare. Everything was delicious and we’ll definitely be back!
P.s. please give your table succulents some love, she was so dehydrated

We absolutely loved our experience at Oro. Every dish was delicious, and our server Drew was wonderful, attentive, warm, and genuinely helpful. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between classy and comfortable, making the whole evening feel special.
We enjoyed the Grissini & Pecorino Whip to start, the Linguini Tricolore and the Ossobuco (chef’s special) for our entrées, and finished with the Tiramisu and Limoncello Zabaglione. Everything was exceptional.
We will definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

Our server, Spencer, truly made the night special. He was attentive without being overbearing, explained each course perfectly, and made us feel genuinely taken care of. You could tell he cared about the experience just as much as the food.

My wife and I really like this place. We like what they did with the space after Springs Orleans left. We really wanted to give them a five star review, but there were just a couple of things with my wife’s entree they need to fix.
Our server was Spencer, and he did an outstanding job. Made us feel right at home. Five stars to him!
We started out with the Olives and the Bison Carpaccio. Both were excellent. Since it was our first time here I didn’t want to go overboard so I settled for the Spaghetti and Meatballs. Spaghetti was a perfect al dente, sauce had a great flavor, as did the meatballs.
My wife ordered the Veal Scallopini and it was a bit disappointing. The breading was soggy and the dish itself was rather bland. She said the salad was great, just didn’t care for the cutlet. I had a couple of bites and have to agree. You typically only get soggy breading if you don’t let the oil get really hot before putting the cutlet in. And just adding some seasoning to either the flour or the breading would’ve made a world of difference. Maybe a little salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and/or some garlic. Just those two minor tweaks would’ve made this a five star experience.
We will be back to try them again because we are both convinced they have what it takes to be a five star experience. You should try them, too! Lord knows the downtown area could use some more high end dining.

The food was great, atmosphere was beautiful, and they use really good ingredients.
Wasn’t crazy about the egg salad on top of the asparagus, but over all the food was delicious!
Spencer was an awesome server. Definitely pricey but if you want a nice date night out in the springs this is the spot!
