Pretty good experience. The service was attentive and friendly, and we were seated right away with no wait, which was a plus. The food came out quickly and was decent overall—not bad at all, though not the best Mexican I’ve had. Still, it’s a solid spot if you’re looking for quick service and a casual meal.

This place was just OK to us and it may very well be because it’s fairly new and they are getting things situated. This is actually the reason why I don’t like going to places within the initial 6mths of opening, but it was convenient this day. Both of our meals were like warm and apparently the margarita was mostly lime juice or mix. Hopefully things will get better because it’s such a great location for a good restaurant…outdoor seating, loads of parking in the center, and very walkable.

They Just opened up this summer at the Annapolis Town Center.
Face review will be based on our two occasions, September 4 and October 30 for Halloween Eve. And we did dress up! So they will be quite a few photos.
And I will have to tell you it’s probably one of my favorite new Mexican restaurants. Their take is more Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine. The menu is a curated selection of Mexico’s finest, from tantalizing tacos to fiery fajitas and a unique spin on Tex-Mex classics.
They even have a big bar making their own specialty drinks, margaritas and tequilas.
Our first time going, there was an epic experience to say the least. We were frustrated with some restaurants that weren’t serving food that met our needs. Good quality, good price, good atmosphere, Urbano’s has it.
On our first experience in September, for starters, we got an octopus ceviche, cooked perfectly. Then we tried to get a few different dishes. We got tacos as you can see in the photos were just as delicious as they look. Coming with a side of looked like bean soup and a side of rice. A fajita salad with steak cooked perfectly. Crispy garlic shrimp. And the dessert honestly I forget the name and I don’t have a photo of it in the menu, but it was very good! At least from what I remember.
Our second day, October 30 and we got something a little different and since October is national Pizza month I got a Mexican pizza. Oysters and crispy shrimp. And of course, as always I try to get a shot of some other plates that were served. Just so you can see the food.
Anyway, next time you’re in the Annapolis town center, and looking for some different food, or have a taste for some Mexican cuisine Tex mix with a twist give Urbano 116 a try! Landed here after another spot was full…and we’re so glad we did!! Shrimp Ceviche was awesome, Chefs Corner have amazing options, grande margaritas, and Tacos! Great music playing and friendly staff all around! Definitely recommend!

The Cadillac margarita is very good. Less sweet with a tartness and complexity that the regular does not have. Got the soft ground beef taco and chicken enchilada. The beans (can’t remember the name. Added a pic) and guacamole were good.
I wish that our bowl of chips had not been mostly broken pieces. Of The 2 salsa, I preferred the lighter. The darker one seemed slightly burnt to me, but my husband preferred it.
The music is great! I kept hitting Spotify to get track names.

The food was just ok for the price. It was $24 or so for chicken fajita and it was a single cutlet, the sides were a little on the lite side besides a bed of onion under some chicken The shredded cheese was hard like it sat out for too long and got stale. The taquitos as a starter were burnt hard. As far as service, they were nice but maybe short handed. We finished the meal and asked for the check before the server was back to check on us or give us a refill. At that point we were over it. I hope it improves so we can revisit down the road.

We went on a Sunday @ 50 minutes before scheduled closing time. Sat down and were told they close the kitchen 40 minutes before closing and we had to hurry to get our order in, so that the kitchen crew could clean up and all leave at 9pm. Most places I know serve you up until closing and the crew cleans up afterwards. Another couple came in at 40 minutes before closing and sat down. The waitress came to them said kitchen is closed and they left. The closing time @ 9 should be changed for dinner so people know not to waste their time. The food was so-so. No other customers were in there. Service was not good. Never returned to see if everything was okay nor to ask if needed water refill. I will not be returning.
