I’ve only been here once, and my mocha latte was well made. What made me give it 4 stars so far was that I love how unique it is.. it’s quirky and all 4 of us patrons that were inside at my visit, were very different aesthetically. The fact that all of us, which appeared so different to me, wanted to patronize this shop is very appealing. Sometimes you want the good, small town coffee shop feel.. and I’m glad that there is now one close to home☕️ I will definitely return here again☕️

If you’re looking for the best place to come, have coffee in the morning. I would suggest here. This place is so calm and relasing every morning. When I get app before I go to my knitting group that’s behind this wonderful place. I come in and get sometimes apple ciders. Sometimes there’s some kind of scones which I would recommend their scones. Are really, really good. They are the best people I have ever met.And I can’t wait to come back and have another one of their amazing apples ciders

The lavender latte I had was amazing! The snickerdoodle cookie was SO good I had to go back for more. Got the daily special which was lemon pepper chicken sandwich on the best bread. Will definitely return. Friendly staff, cute mugs for sale. Halloween friendly spot.

I really enjoy the atmosphere and friendly service here. However, the brewed coffee often tastes a bit flat. I checked and was told it had been brewed about an hour earlier, which likely affects the freshness and flavor. Coffee brewed straight from the bean has a much richer taste — it would be great if they could brew it more frequently to keep that fresh flavor. I would still like to come back and try it again.

This is an unassuming little place, but the coffee and pastries are really tasty. And what makes the place is the staff, which is SOOOO nice! Its my favorite place for mid-bike-ride pause from Chicago.

I’d show a photo, but the food was too good and I ate it all. Great coffee shop, with a surprisingly diverse (and yummy) menu. In the drive between Detroit & Chicago, if you’re hungry and wanting something more than the normal chain restaurants or unhealthy food, this is a great pop pick:)

Love coming to Grindhouse. Friendly staff, great food and great coffee! Excellent selection of foods and drinks. Of all the “coffee shops” in my area, this is definitely my go-to spot. They opened up a new location in Highland today (9/25/24) and it’s quite nice. Identical menus across all locations so it makes it easy to decide what to get no matter where you may be.
