The Pizza Birria was better than I had hoped, an authentic recipie with slow roasted lamb and it even come with the connsumme to dip in. It feeds 2-3 people for $20 that’s not bad at all and if you don’t like lamb their chicken/beef fajita tacos are on delicious as well definitely worth the stop and every penny. Look for the metal awning in front of their truck, behind the Mc Donald’s on timberland across the street in the same parking lot as the Salon thats looks like a 2 story house.

I used to look forward to my trip to Lufkin and getting the Pizza Birria . But after my last visit, I won’t be returning. The pizza had multiple bones in it, the Birria was not flavored at all and was almost entirely water, and the meat tasted off. As well, I wanted to try the burrito, and that too was a mistake. I hope others continue having a great experience, but for $20, I’m not going to chance getting the Pizza Birria again and nothing else on the menu was worth me not going to Cafe Del Rio or any of the other Mexican restaurants.
