We got to try Happy Slice Pizza for the first time this past Saturday. We arrived a little after 5 pm, and there was no wait. We ordered the garlic knots and they were ok, just a bit doughy for my personal liking. My kids got their pizzas and really enjoyed them. I’m giving the restaurant less stars because it took us 55 minutes to receive our full-sized pizzas, 40 minutes after my kids received theirs! I completely understand my kids getting their meals first, as a lot of restaurants do this. But to not serve the adult meals for another 40 minutes makes no sense. My kids were done way before ours arrived, and then had to sit there and wait. We don’t want to have to entertain our kids while trying to enjoy our meal, that’s the whole point of coming out to eat! (And they don’t have a kids coloring menu or anything.) I’m not sure why ours took so long as there was almost nobody in the restaurant and lots of staff standing around. Maybe they had a lot of to-go orders? When the table next to us later got filled and they ordered, their pizza took maybe 15 minutes. The Sweet Heat pizza had almost no heat too it and was overly sweet for me, but the Barbacoa Betty was great. The pizza is good overall, but we won’t be dining in again. Hopefully takeout will be a better experience.

This was our first visit to Happy Slice and I’m so glad we decided to try them! I’m an ex- NY’r and very picky about my pizza!

First – they have their own Spotify song list (happy pizza) which is amazing! Very eclectic..with a bit of everything for everyone! The owners spent some time putting this list together..and it shows! It’s a small place, but seating is comfy and decor was also well thought out. Loved the vibe!

Service was spot on – there’s a ‘batman’ sign on the table that you turn vertical when you need a server. Great idea!

One of the things that drew me to Happy Pizza is their use of clean ingredients and scratch made everything. Their ranch dressing was quite good, as was their marinara sauce. I lean toward places where I know exactly what’s in my food due to my diet restrictions.

First up was garlic knots – and they didn’t disappoint! Hot, tasty, not greasy at all (they will give you garlic olive oil on the side if you would like ) – the marinara was great with them!

We ordered two of the specialty pies – the cloud nine (spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, garlic oil) and the Marguerita (marinara, fresh mozzarella, basil, fresh tomato slices). Both were quite good. The undercarriage could be a tad thinner – but on the other hand, neither pie drooped – easy to fold in half and eat! Good edge as well. Hubs is a lover of white pies, and was happy with this one! I thought it was a very good Marguerita pie as well – and their marinara elevates the flavor.

All in all – four thumbs up and would recommend!!

We’ve eaten here 3 times now and we might have a problem because we are addicted to their Gluten Free pizza.

Half our family is gf and we have had a great experience with lots of reassurance from the owner. The crust is amazing, with bubbles and everything. Even the gluten eaters in our family ended up eating the gf leftovers and said it was great. AND yes there were leftovers because the pizza was a decent size! 1 gf pizza def can feed two people with possibility of leftovers if you don’t have growing boys

I love their hot honey that they make in house, it goes great on their sweet heat pizza, though I subbed the pepperoni for sausage (which is so good!). My parents loved the lemon pepper wings- I’m not sure if they are gf, they were looking into it.

Gf pizza is cooked on a separate type of pan and cooked in a different oven from the gluten pizzas. We were told that cross contamination chances are not zero, but they def try hard, and we’ve been ok, though we might not be as sensitive as others.

We ordered takeout tonight, hubs loved the garlic knots (not gf) and says the wings were even better today. Their Pizza just tastes so good.

They were working out a few kinks with takeout today, they have only been open this week, but the owners def went out of their way to make everything right and fill everyone’s bellies.

Also their hibiscus strawberry drink is amazing- I can’t remember the official name- but it’s so good!!

Came here with my friends for a girls night out! Wanted a marg, decided to go with the skinny dirty margarita (just like me lol). I found it to be quite marvelous and fantastic. My friends got beers and they were crispy and cold in the cutest little cups. Then , we had the delicious and best italiano salad and split it because we’re great friends. It was magnificent. After, we had the best part of this meal: the sweet heat pizza. It provided a myriad of flavors: sweet, spunky, savory flavor with a twist. It was so perfect my friend didn’t even open her ranch cup. The atmosphere was phenomenal , with the perfect lighting and greatest service. More than two people checked on us and each server was so amazing, with great vibes. M’lise was fabulous . Come here for the food, vibes, and service. You won’t be disappointed.

Our family got to experience the soft opening and wow, what a delicious experience! Pizza was flavorful, red sauce was yummy and not overly acidic and the cheesy bread had all
The seasonings and the ultimate cheese pull. The espresso martini is perfection and the porch swing drink was my summer dream! Servers were on point, friendly and fun. We will be back. I absolutely recommend!

Same fun neighborhood vibe (and an equally beautiful patio) as Mama Betty’s. Even during a soft opening the place ran smoothly, staff were exceedingly kind, food was great. Whole family had a great evening! All the pizza was excellent but the standout for me was the Margherita. ‍

Dined on the patio for their first night open! Nate was an awesome server, great conversation and took care of us! Also, met one of the owners, Forrest, very nice!! Everyone was so sweet with our dog, she got all the pets! The patio is decked with tables & chairs and a turf area for kiddos to play.
Happy hour is 3-6pm
We ordered the Barbacoa Betty pizza with jalapeños on the side (cause I’m kinda a baby) – DELISH!!! So flavorful, cheese pulls like nobodies business, and just gorgeously crafted crust!
We will ABSOLUTELY be back to try more food!! So excited this place is open!!

This place is probably better when it’s hot out offered a table inside and when it was available they gave to someone else no real rules about heaters outside I get it first come first serve but a table came in after and the waitress went and set them up with one so decided to wait in the car for the food. To be fair maybe expectations should have been low as my pepperoni slice came out as a cheese slice. Maybe I should have pointed at a picture but not going to go here again so it’s fine go to Home Slice much better all around.

Had family come into town, and it was the first time we were all together in seven years. A friend recommended Happy Slice, and WOW — we are so glad we listened!

The pizza was incredible, the best I’ve had in years. The Barbacoa Pizza was a tastebud sensation! What really stood out to all of us was that the pizzas weren’t over-sauced, so you could actually taste every ingredient.

And I know it sounds simple, but their Cheese Pizza might just be the best in Texas. Seriously.
