Food was phenomenal and the place was immaculate and clean. Staff was very friendly. We got the fried ribs, fried pad thai, and papaya salad. Everything was on point. I’m Cajun and love spicy food and knew they’d think I’m just another white guy who only *dabbles* in spice so I told them, “Please make it Asian spicy, not white man spicy.” They delivered and it was perfect – loaded down with Thai chilis. 10/10 will recommend to all my friends and family or anyone who wants some killer Asian food.

The portion size was so impressive!
The rice was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The vegetables were on point, the shrimp was thick and tasted excellent, the steak was high quality and juicy.
It’s hard to find quality like this anymore, you can tell real ingredients were used every step of the way.

This was my first and last time here I spent $28 for trio meats, steak, shrimp and chicken. The steak was tuff, Chicken didn’t have enough teriyaki sauce neither did the shrimps. They gave me mainly carrots for my vegetables, maybe one or two broccoli no cabbage. The rice was hard or old didn’t taste like fried rice only thing that tasted decent was the noodles. They give you a good portion but I prefer fresh food any day, my food tasted like it was sitting out for awhile especially the rice. I wouldn’t call this little spot a hibachi because you can’t even see what’s being cooked or what they’re doing to your food.

Wow! This place was awesome! Friendly & fast service. The food was priced right & absolutely amazing!! We had about a 15 minute drive home but everything was still hot and fresh. They know what they’re doing in there, that’s for sure!

The food here used to be Soo delicious. I’m not sure what has happened lately but it’s not the same as it used to be. Food is overly salty and overcooked. The flavor profile is also off. I’ll try it again to see if it’s just a fluke but for now, it’s not for me.

Jay the owner has a passion for cooking! I’ve been to both his restaurants grata guy and the food is always top knotch! Just tried sumo hibachi express and it surpassed my expectations! Highly recommended I’ll be back!

Bad news first – we ordered veggie plate and the noodles was bland and burnt, the rice was either old or over cooked and the veggies were not cooked at all it basically was raw. The veggie rolls not pictures were also overcooked and the inside was mush. There was no distinguishable veggie in it. We didn’t finish eating the veggie plate because even with yum yum sauce it did not take away crunchy bits and burnt taste
Now for better news
My wife really like the edamame and said it had a good flavor. The Tempura Shrimp was delicious and whatever the sauce was made it even better. Wish i got more shrimp though.. you pay $7 for 5 shrimp and for the amount of shrimp i would want it would end up being well over $20. Even though veggie rolls were a little overdone it still had a nice taste to it and likely would have been even better if it wasn’t mashed veggies.
If you come here just know the Apps are a hit yet expensive and the veggie plate is a hit or miss.
