The restaurant wa ssort of empty, probably because it’s a rainy day and many aren’t in the office. I rarely come to showmars now because their prices are way too high. That said the one of the few times I go I get another reason to never go back. The BLT is now almost $8.00, and my sandwich had a quarter of a piece of lettuce, I asked for wheat bread and they gave me white and the sandwiches looked frail and rinky dink. I won’t go back. This was the motivation that I needed to make sure I bring breakfast from home. It’s no wonder business is slow.

My favorite restaurant to go to lunch to while at work , my favorite is the greek salad with chicken , santorini chicken, fish platter and their Hummus salad is exceptional especially the roasted pepper sauce they put on the hummus . Their daily specials are a catch as well and their breakfast menu is pretty good , I’m a fan of their greek omelet with hashbrowns , toast and they give you a complimentary jam and butter with it as well.

Open early, great prices and awesome staff.
Just found my new local breakfast spot while staying in downtown Charlotte.
And just want to mention that not only was the staff attractive, they were incredibly friendly and moved at a steady pace. The food came out quick, hot and absolutely delicious and upon finishing the fine cuisine it made me want to yell, booomshakalaka.

Great food (had breakfast) and great staff. Giving just 4 stars due to tipping issues… You have to tip in cash only. Thought you could add tip to credit card slip but they do not allow. Will not let you charge more to get cash for server either. Staff is great so bring cash so you can leave a good tip.

Fast, friendly, affordable, nice,.bright interior. Best fish sandwich and basket in the Carolinas, including the shore areas! It has a hefty portion of “Alaskan” mystery fish, lightly crumbed and fried, on a soft bun. Also, love the cactus chili and gyros. Great place for business and social lunches. Can’t wait to try dinner at one of their other locations.

This is a great place for an affordable breakfast, either eat-in or to go. Service is fast, and the food is consistently good. …. Just be aware it isn’t visible from outside the building – enter the Charlotte Plaza building (black glass faced) at street level and go up the escalator to the right and Showmars is right there at the top.
