This place feels like walking into a fairytale ✨ Putting a restaurant inside a plant nursery is GENIUS and it is probably the prettiest place I have ever eaten!! I was marveling at how whimsical everything felt.
I would say that the food and service are just okay. Service was slow, which was understandable because they were super busy, but they should have staffed more than one person to bake the pizzas on a busy evening. The pizza itself was pretty expensive and tasted very mediocre. This place is kind of just about the vibe.

I’m going to start by saying this is a 4.5 review. Though hot the trees provided shade; the pies were better than expected and the service followed suite. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do the cider and I get a tasting, a try before you buy sorta thing. I appreciated that. The folks were very friendly. Paying via Apple Pay was convenient, and there was ample seating. Night #1, and Garden Tap was a definite win!

The plants and the nicely selected decor makes it a visually pleasent experience.

Happened upon the Garden Tap on a road trip and it was one of the food highlights of our trip!! They had a fun variety of rotating taps, great, relaxed vibe in their big outdoor seating area right in the middle of a nursery! What a great combination of pizza and plant shopping! My wife was a very appreciative of the gluten free crust and vegan cheese availability.

Place was amazing as far as atmosphere goes. Placed an order for a Margherita pizza and waited over an hour while guests showed up after us were served. Can’t speak to the food, cause we left… but you allow at least an hour and fifteen minutes for a 12 inch pie on a Saturday night.

The Garden Tap is so cute. I love being able to walk around and do some plant shopping then relax to a nice sour or glass of wine. The vibes here are so relaxing and peaceful. The food was amazing. The pizzas were very delicious and the salads are very large, perfect for sharing. I had a great time and I will definitely be returning.

Their pizza here is on point. We got a pizza that was half marguerita and half goat cheese, arugula, kalamata olives. Thin crust is my favorite so of course I would enjoy it. The nursery was beautiful to look at, enjoyed the outdoor seating. The hostess was great- very attentive and friendly, kept everything in order as the dinner crowd started to roll in. I highly recommend this place if you are in the town of Mount Shasta.

Awesome outdoor brick oven pizza spot situated inside a beautiful alpine nursery. A few decent beer and wine options complement the relatively basic food menu. Two 12″ pizzas and the large kale salad we ordered was a good portion for four adults. The pre-designed gourmet pizza menu is fairly limited in scope, but thoughtfully curated- I liked both pizza options we got, and customizations are apparently allowed if you need something with more traditional ingredient combinations. It’s family and dog friendly, with ample seating in a casual, vibrant outdoor atmosphere. I love this concept of a “bistro nursery”- an innovative, modern alfresco dining experience in the beautiful city of Mt Shasta.
