I used to live in South Texas for 2.5 years, and during that time I visited numerous Mexican restaurants. This one definitely took me by surprise. The food is very tasty, and the portion size is generous for such an affordable price. It’s hard to find a place like this in today’s inflationary environment.

This restaurant was certainly needed in Front Royal. Everything we have ordered has been amazing. We like to try places a few times before leaving reviews. They’re consistently excellent. The tacos are heavy and the pupusas are authentic. The soups are some of the best in town. Don’t let the price of the soups sway you. They’re huge bowls. We’re talking Pyrex large mixing bowl size. Enjoy this new gem in town. Also, they’re as affordable as the taco truck across town.

Second visit : Chicken Fajitas and mix Fajitas. Tasty as the first time . Again, I would have patience since they do need another Frontline employee to help with orders , drink refills , etc . The food taste great but as long as you are patient you will enjoy the meal and have plenty leftovers .
First time at this resteraunt . The food was excellent and plenty of it . We had shrimp fajitas, chicken fajitas, pupousas, plantains, and more than enough food for 3 large to go containers afterward .
The only thing that would make it better if they had a dedicated waiter for table areas only but we still got our food in the time promised .
This central American resteraunt is worth a try .

Been meaning to stop in to Mama Chave since they opened. We tried a few different items. Everything was unique and tasty. The portions were huge, and we ended up getting 2 more meals out of the order. That said, that makes the prices a very good value. The service was fast and friendly. We will definitely return.

The food here is definitely tasty! We ordered a lot to try and to take the rest home. There was a bit of a wait for your food, and the soda comes as a can, but it was worth it.

Very happy to find good pupusas in multiple flavor offerings and the steak & chicken burrito was extremely good.
Regretfully our food preparation apparently competed with take out orders so it led to a 30 minute wait after ordering.
