Girls’ Night Out Fun!
My girlfriends and I visited this location this past Saturday, and we had an amazing time! The vibe was energetic, the staff was friendly, and the arcade games brought out our inner kids—we laughed and played for hours. The food was good overall, though the macaroni and cheese could use a little more flavor and a thicker consistency. Hopefully they tweak that recipe soon! Still, the experience was so much fun that I’m already planning to come back with my family. Great spot for a night of food, fun, and friendly competition!

Fantastic experience for a date night away from our 6 kids! Thoroughly impressed with every aspect of our night here! Really could have been happier with our visit! We stopped in around 10pm on Saturday, wasn’t very busy at all, but we sat a table near the bar for nachos and drinks. Highly recommend the Nachos, Dangerous Waters drink & the Henny’s Strawberry! So yummy! We then enjoyed playing games, all games were clean and working. Truly have no complaints! Staff was awesome, everyone was friendly and in a great mood! Thank you Dave & Busters for a wonderful night! We will be back! With friends!

We had my son’s 11th birthday party here today and it was AWESOME!! Over the years we have been just about everywhere for birthday parties between my three kids and Dave and Busters greatly exceeded my expectations!! The presentation was so nice. There was a buffet style food counter for the food we ordered with food warmers and a water bar. There were personalized place mats with my son’s name on them and we had a dedicated food server. The manager, Cody (who told me his name a few times but in the chaos I might have it wrong) greeted us and went through what to expect and introduced us to our server, Ryan. Ryan was on top of everything!! We did not have to hunt for him for anything. He had all the food, utensils, everything already there when it was needed. We had unlimited game cards so even when our actual party ended we were allowed to stay and play for hours. We all had so much fun. My son and his friends had a great time!! We will definitely be frequenting this place and we will probably be coming back to party next year!!

Here for dinner, no games.
Food was decent, service was very good, atmosphere was meh. Unless your here for games and sports on tv, would not come here just for dinner.

Ive heard good things of Dave and Busters and was excited to get one in Town+ FINALLY see the “hype”.. UNFORTUNATELY, I will say when my husband and I decided to chose here to check out for a date night/mom and dad night out AFTER ages as out FIRST date officially as a married couple that I DID feel disappointed. I couldn’t help but expect more. We went on a Friday evening, and it was packed (but couldn’t see the hype).

ARCADE REVIEW-
The arcade was smaller than I expected (a thing I see mentioned in other reviews). In terms of quality of games offered, I feel the options were heavy than other arcades locally on the “WIN TICKET games”- ticket winning claw machines, spin the wheel for tickets, coin ticket game, etc. BUT.. I felt for how much the games cost it was also on the inconsistent side for how much tickets you could earn. I personally lean towards like Ski ball/air hockey games (29 yo adult) vs pushing a button to try and get tickets. Tried the 2 bowling machines- disappointing/faulty, the machine broke/didnt return the ball. The few ski ball were so short on balls (ONLY 1/2 total), and I found out there were 4 balls that were off BEHIND THE MACHINE. Only 1 air hockey and it was ALWAYS packed (other arcades locally have at least 2). It looks to also have a spot for darts, maybe shuffle board.

In full transparency I dont frequent ARCADES often so cant speak on the overal prices, but I will say I felt it was pricey+ I personally have had more fun going to South 40 and GSR for example in terms of play options. (Like any arcade, ticket prices can be high and you’d spend TONS more saving up for x item than buying it with actual cash.) Prize area seemed okay. In terms of it being a family friendly environment, yes and no for what it offers + from first impression, Id recommend another spot tbh for kid parties etc.. As other reviews say.. ITS LOUD FAR LOUDER than a lot of places Ive gone. You can still here a person talk, but the noise ended up giving me a headache in the 2.5 hours we were out and Im not a sensitive type. If you have kids with noise sensitivities/easily overstimulated, I WOULD not chose here ON A BUSY (friday-weekend night to try it out. A plus- they do offer food/gaming combos AND adults can carry around their drinks at the arcade.

BAR/FOOD:
The food was good but not overally impressive personally+felt it fells a bit flat. I dont watch sports but felt if you are a sports bar type- there may be other better options to go. I felt the dinning/bar area WAS a bit crowded/packed together for seating. We got the mozzarella sticks (my favorite of it all, brussell sprout, buffalo wings, a cajun pasta with jalapeño cheddar sausage and cajun shrimp, and then had to conclude with the Smores cheesecake). The wait was a 45-1 hour to be seated (they send a text). I did applaud the drink menu by saying options/visually being appealing, but no prices listed anywhere when it came to alcohol (not a major biggie but cant imagine a bar tab ). An alcoholic blackberry lemonade was $13. The wait for food was about 25 minutes on a Friday. Service was good/staff seemed friendly enough.

Summary: 3/5 stars. For a 2 person date night it ended up being $200 (2 appetizers, 2 entrees,1 desert, 2 alcoholic drinks, $60 in game credits). The crowdedness for what it offers/how smaller the place is is not worth it to me for waits nor gaming quality (juat personal opinion). I personally would probably chose to go elsewhere in town, BUT doesnt mean Id at least try going once more. For the hype/fun I heard of Dave and Busters as a place it was a letdown. Id still give it a shot as a corporation if I came across one in travels. At least check it out once locally and make own verdict.

PERFECT DATE SPOT! My husband and I were seated at a table as soon as we walked in. Our drinks were served right away and our food came out within 15 minutes of ordering. I ordered the Buster’s Bacon Smash Burger with regular fries. It was delicious! My husband ordered wings (spicy Korean flavor) with a Cali Ceasar salad bowl. He enjoyed it. For dessert, we ordered the funnel cake fries. IT WAS SOOOO GOOD! I have absolutely no sweet tooth whatsoever but it was the best part of the meal! I highly recommend funnel cake fries to anyone. The arcade was a good size. There are plenty of games to stay busy for a couple hours! Later, we sat at the bar. I ordered the Backwoods Blueberry Lemonade. It was great! The staff was so kind and helpful. The facility was clean. I can’t wait to return!

I love D&B: it’s an adult arcade with a bar (and restaurant) attached. Kids are welcome if accompanied by an adult – don’t try to “drop & run”, as staff will not allow unaccompanied minors to stay. Additionally, at a certain (reasonably late) hour, it’s adult-only. Games are 1/2 price on Wednesdays, and they also have combined game & dining specials.

My group visited on a Wednesday and it wasn’t all that busy. We first were seated for dinner and the staff was friendly and on top of things. The food came out in a reasonable time but it’s really sub par at best. For an appetizer, we ordered chips and guac and the guac was already a tinted brown even after stirring through it so definitely not fresh. We sent that back and opted for another appetizer without the guac which turned out fine.

For my main course, I ordered the loaded Mac and cheese. I’m not sure how but the bowl was actually warmer than the food which was luke warm. It did taste pretty good overall so I kept it but it felt like it sat in the back for too long and cooled down.

They have a small selection of drinks during happy hour when we visited which sets the price probably where the drinks should be normally. During happy hour, the drinks were nice and I have no complaints.

Afterwards our group did have a little fun in the arcade. It seems a little on the smaller side but had decent variety overall and the price point seems par for other nearby arcades.

I think if we were to return, I would eat anywhere else first but still enjoy a drink or two if it’s during happy hour.

Tried to eat here at the New Dave & Busters in South Reno but there was a 2hr wait so we shifted plans a decided to play games instead and boy this place is Awesome with all the best games on the market, tons of TV’s for all your sports and entertainment needs, a true adult playground for sure. Can’t wait to return and hopefully try the food as well next time. Definitely recommend visiting with kids or just a fun couple night out.

I come here often and they always have the best service and crew especially with Joey, Cruz, Norman, Gianna, Cody, and Kindra! Great customer service, consistently! They have a “happiest hour” selection, Mon – Fri 4pm – 7pm, & Sun – Thu 10pm – Close! Also highly recommended during NFL Sundays, UFC Fight Nights, and essentially and sporting event!
