Wow!! I can’t believe this is in Leavenworth! So so good and very impressed. Awesome family restaurant atmosphere with great service. The food was delicious! Highly recommend the spicy sweet wings, the crabs and shrimp and even the greens!

Food was hot and fresh and the staff were friendly and really tried to make sure we had a good meal. The only reasons for less than 5 stars was the cost seemed high for the food we ordered and the atmosphere was generic and a tv was playing a reality show at a very high volume.

When you walk into Krabwingz, the smell is like NOTHING else. Intoxicating, rich, buttery, spicy! We ordered the 1lb of crab, 1lb of shrimp combo. It came with 2 super fresh snow crab clusters, 2 big boiled potatoes, sausage, a boiled egg & a half corn on cob SMOTHERED in a delicious butter with a dash of garlic & dot of spice. Insanely delicious! (my mouth is watering now) Got a freshly fried up order of catfish which was a 10/10* Also got a side of tender, flavorful greens, some crunchy cole slaw & OH MY LORD some of the homemade peach cobbler! We will be making this Krabwingz a family meal stop a few times a month. Also, the people working there are the kindest, down to earth people you could hope to meet! Don’t even hesitate…just GO!

I always get a little nervous when I walk into a place and it’s empty. Tells me either they just opened or the food is bad. Fortunately, this place was in point. We ordered the house wings and the catfish, it was good. I like to support small businesses when I can, and this place was friendly and the service was timely. Menu was a little pricey but worth it for the portion sizes. I recommend a visit.

I visited this restaurant today after a friend said they had great catfish. On entry I was greeted by the family to ran the property. I was seated and given a menu. Crab Legs/clusters, Wings/wingz, Catfish, Basa, and Shrimp!. I went for the Catfish!
The Catfish was perfectly prepared, fried, non greasy, and tasty! Some like their fish with tartar sauce, some like vinegar, some like hot sauce yet this is where Krabwingz offers something special. They have a home made ‘hot’ hot sauce. This isn’t your typical traditional sauce. This hot sauce is served hot (temperature wise), not “hot” as in spicy but very flavorful!
So in closing I gave them 5 stars base on food quality and friendly service. This is certainly worthy of being on your list of places to dine!

I ordered my food by phone for carryout. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was professional and the staff was polite and respectful. You get a lot of food for the price. When in Leavenworth again I will definitely be eating at Krabwingz. It’s hard to believe they have only been in business a year. Whoever reads this go and give them a try. I had the catfish which comes with fries. I got corn, slaw and onion rings for my husband. We also ordered shrimp. It was really big, fresh, and not over cooked.

I would give this place 10 stars. Had the walleye indescribably delicious. It’s not a fancy sit down place. It’s a place that puts all it’s effort into the food and totally succeeds. The 2 gentleman working were fantastic. They explained the menu and kept checking to see if we needed anything. When one of the gentleman got off work he checked to see if we were enjoying our meal. I haven’t been to Leavenworth in 40 years but I will definitely be going out of my way the next time I visit my mother to eat here. Way to go Krabwingz keep up the good work!

Between the 2 of us, my husband and I have spent over half our lives in areas with prime seafood. We love a wonderful Kansas steak, so there’s that, but hadn’t found a rival for coastal cuisine. Tonight we had the best low country boil with shrimp (although it is also offered with crab legs) and fried walleye in Kansas!! And maybe anywhere! Absolutely delicious. It’s a small place, so there may not always be a table open, but take out was in full swing. The service was like your own mom would do 🙂 we will definitely recommend it to all we meet (which is how we heard about it) and will be back.
