Cute place! I love that they have unique stuff to try.

Lots of picnic tables. Clear menus on the building with photos.

They make their hard dipped ice cream in house so I got the bubble gum flavored it was very delicious! I had them add bananas

Great service and plenty of parking!

We had milkshakes – hard to pick because there are so many options. Was really delicious. You can tell the ingredients are good quality and simple. Fresh fruits was blended into my strawberry banana milkshake. I will go back to try a lot of the other offerings as well. Courteous, very clean and such a nice outdoor sitting area. Ample and under lovely shade trees.

Ice cream was very delicious. Better than most that I have tried. The food is mediocre though. Hit or miss, plan on going back to try it again to get a second opinion. The wings felt dry and over cooked. The fries felt undercooked. Milkshake was a jaw dropper though. Their ice cream is the reason I rated it so highly. I recommend the ice cream for sure.
The location was not terrible. Parking is hit or miss, depends on the day, time, and season.

Been twice now, and both times, the food was great, and the desserts were delicious. I only wish they put more on the sandwiches, but hey, still taste good. Gonna try something new every time

New resident to Plain City and just tried Dulce Vida. Their version of the DQ blizzard is called a tornado. And the cookie dough one with chocolate ice cream and chocolate syrup was the best I’ve ever had. We are heading back now!

Been coming here since it was Lil E’s. Prices are higher, but maybe that’s why they sold…

We’ve been here a few times since the ownership changed and we haven’t noticed the quality difference – in fact, the food has been amazing. Eating at an ice cream place is a but like ordering a bean burrito with no beans, but the Philly (although nothing like the picture) was really good. The tamales my wife got were “best I’ve had in a long time”. Kids got quesadillas and hot dog – none were left before we went back for ice cream.

Ice cream was good as usual. I love the addition of the “Frozen Tornado” (blizzard).

As far as “atmosphere” – the picnic tables and grass area needs serious attention. Grass is too long inviting bugs and preventing kids from enjoying the (broken) connect 4 game. Spend some time/money over there and more people will stay. The longer they stay, the more they spend.

We’ll keep coming back.

This location used to be a favorite stop of mine…until the ownership, name and menu changes. I am not hard to please. I just want soft serve ice cream. This ice cream was “grainy.” The consistency – and the taste – was just ‘off.’ I didn’t even finish it. Made me wonder if it was frozen yogurt or something other than traditional soft serve ice cream. Or maybe it was just cheap ingredients or the machine isn’t working properly. Whatever it is, I gave them two tries about a year apart and got the same thing. And all I had was a small soft serve cup. Nothing special. Nothing else. And the last visit, people who placed their order after me got their order before me. How long does it take to dispense a single small cup of chocolate/vanilla ‘twist’? Now I just drive by, (several times a week), and think about how much I miss the place when they served good quality soft serve ice cream. I don’t know if the new owners decided to cut costs to try to get a quicker return on their investment or what, (which is a mistake many small food establishment buyers make). Whatever the reason for the decline in the quality of the product, it is a shame.

I wanted to love this place but half of the things I’ve tried have not been good. I’ll start with the good. Nachos Supreme were great. Fresh and a good value. Tamales were tasty and an interesting option. Milkshake was good but it should have been for the price. Now the bad. Elote was bland canned corn with very little toppings or flavor. Definitely skip it. Hot fudge sundae was grainy soft serve with chocolate syrup, not hot fudge, and no whipped cream or any other toppings. It was not good. Hot fudge is a basic item every ice cream shop should have. Very disappointing. Mango sorbet was so oddly flavored. Mango is one of my favorites and I couldn’t eat it. Tasted off, almost fermented. This place could be extremely successful. The potential is there. Focus on quality and earning return customers. I’ve been 3 times but I probably won’t go back.

This place was adorable…the staff was very nice and fast, and everything was very good with generous portions. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick, indulgent sweet treat or Mexican meal. The milkshake and churros were amazing!
