Sat outside to enjoy a nice lunch on a beautiful day.

Had a nice glass of wine, a cheeseburger and a phenomenal dessert (a chocolate molten cake). Service was excellent, and continued to be attentive and make sure we had everything we needed.

Large indoor restaurant, some seating outside on the patio and a sit down bar area that looked inviting and friendly.

It was fun to sit at the Marina and watch the action. Especially loved watching the boaters come back and then see the marina crew clean and move their boats to storage. Fascinating!

The bar is awesome, not too big but nice.
Located next to the harbor which means a nice view.
People are all very nice and talkative.
They have bands playing in the weekend, what brings more atmosphere to the place.
It’s a great place to hang out and sip your drink

As a younger man, “compared to the crowd in the restaurant”, traveling the ICW from Virginia to South Florida I was not impressed by the attitude or dameanor of the host or the bar tender, would not seat me at a table with plenty open. Food was also sub par. Salad sizes were tiny for the price and mostly yellow and wilted with the most watery caesar dressing I have ever had. The burger and fries were better. But let’s be honest, how hard is it to make a burger. In conclusion the staff could be a bit more accommodating for boat travelers seeing as that is what this place is.

We walked in to sit at the bar and then place a Togo order. The bartender was really rude and almost pretended like we didn’t exist. Other servers there were also rude and let the door shut on our face on our way out. For some reason we felt really unwelcome by the staff. The food was great, which is the only positive thing I have to say about the experience.

My husband and I came for lunch outside, and after ordering drinks and beginning to check out the menu, the manager aggressively approached us. He informed us that he would “give you the courtesy” of letting us pay for our drinks before we need to “leave immediately” because “dogs are not allowed” (at the outside Tiki bar) and we should have “known better”…?
Not good customer service imo, but no problem: I informed him that my dog is a medical alert animal, to which he said he “didn’t care one bit” and it’s “not my problem” (to explain, not that I owe it to anyone, but my dog alerts to smells I’m severely allergic to, and I can’t go anywhere without him). I told him it was a Federal offense and $75k fine to deny Service Animals, and he raised his voice at me across the bar to the point that other patrons asked if I was alright.
This is the absolute craziest thing that’s ever happened to me at a restaurant, I wish I would have recorded it- these ppl deserve to be prosecuted!

Love the ribs and fries! It was beautiful to wait and eat outside at sunset. When traveling here make sure you take the correct route into the st James area. When we traveled here we could not enter certain gates and had to find the main entrance. Kids meal was excellent. The prices were very affordable and very reasonable for the quality and amount of food!

Came to eat brunch at 11ish on August 13th. It was very slow but our service was still bad. The food was good but was cold. We had to wait for syrup for French toast and had to get up to ask for water and the check.

We enjoyed sitting out on the deck, listening to the band. Had drinks & appetizers. It was windy. So we went inside for dinner. It was very loud, we had to yell to talk, nothing around at all soften the noise! Staff and meal took forever and not worth the wait.

We have been coming here since it opened. It is casual and convenient. Not bad, not great. The food was much better before the chef and menu changed. The Balsamic Chicken was classic and one of the best dishes on the menu, but they don’t even bring it back as a special. Burgers are pretty good. Not great for Gluten Free, but they do offer a GF bun. Beacon shrimp is excellent. The outside seating is 5 star. Music on Sundays is great. Unfortunately they only have music for a few months of the year. I think the new manager is quite good, and we need to give him a chance to work issues. The service is ok, or at least adequate, but it can be slow. A small ding from a recent trip: The hostess sat a couple ahead of us even after we pointed out we were next and that table should be ours. She told us not to worry because another table would be ready soon. She wasn’t mean or anything, she was simply unaware that was an unacceptable response.
