This is an amazing local ice cream spot! We came a few minutes before closing time and they were super friendly and willing to serve us! Our order was complicated, but they served us with grace, and it was such an enjoyable experience! We go here fairly frequently now, and all their flavors and creations are amazing! The milkshakes and sundaes are the best we’ve ever had, and the ice cream flavors are out of this world! I definitely recommend this!

Saw this on the map and decided to stop. Thought it was the Pennstate creamery. I pull in the parking lot, no cars there and no lights on. Didn’t see anyone inside.
Google said it was open, the door said “open come in”, and there was a sign outside with summer hours indicating it was open. Disappointed they abandoned working for the day, I took a picture of the sign and for fun, tried opening the door.
They are amish!
So… if it looks closed, don’t leave !
As for the ice cream, I got the cookies and cream/oreo and was impressed. I grew up next to a dairy farm and their cookies and cream is unlike any I’ve ever had. The ice cream is darker and the cookies are mixed in. Well this place was like that and that’s the first time I’ve had it elsewhere.
As good as it was, the ice cream was very hard and not melting well. I got a pint of cookies and cream milk for $1.30, and carageenan was an ingredient… so maybe they add to the ice cream as well.

We stopped here for ice cream on our way to Kane, PA to visit family. What a great stop! The ice cream is incredible and the prices are amazing. If you find yourself in this area, do yourself a favor and make the detour — you won’t be disappointed!

Although I rated a 2 star, I have had good ice cream in the past. The last milkshake I had was so excessive with malt. Terrible taste, and, in fact, made me sick.

This place is on a country road several miles from the nearest I-80 interchange. It has great ice cream, only serves food (hot dogs & hamburgers) on Friday & Saturday, and is cash only. Well worth the detour off the highway!
