My wife and I arrived at the restaurant around 8pm and it was empty (it’s still early in the season). Even though the restaurant was already setup for breakfast in the morning they were happy to seat us and the service was excellent.
We started with the bruschetta which was full of flavor and carefully prepared. For main entrees we split the Spaghetti Pomodoro with meatballs (full portion) and Salsiccia Pepe pizza. Both were delicious and a healthy serving of food. Plenty of leftovers
For drinks we started with wine and ended with cocktails. I ordered an old fashioned (not on the menu) and it was a very healthy pour. Overall great service and a lovely experience. It’s not a cheap restaurant but it was worth every penny in my opinion!
Fantastic views overlooking the bay!

while visiting bar harbor, we stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn. This is the restaurant inside the Holiday Inn’s main building. They serve breakfast (7-9AM) and also dinner (I would also guess lunch?). They also have a full bar. We went for breakfast on our Sunday morning in Bar Harbor before heading to Acadia NP. They had a limited but well manicured breakfast menu that presented us with some larger meal options but required some creativity for those of us that eat small breakfasts. I am not one to eat a large breakfast, but I found myself some options on the “sides” section of the menu where I was able to order an everything bagel and then a side of protein (bacon). The service was quick and respectful. They easily separated our check between the 3 of us, and the coffee was delicious. We had a great experience and the server was attentive. As an upscale hotel restaurant, the menu is, of course, of a pricer scale with most breakfast meals being after $13. Coffee was around $3.

Ate dinner two nights in a row. David Greene the manager was always there helping where needed. He is definitely a great asset to this establishment. Italian meats pizza fire roasted perfectly. Then 2nd night, lobster ravioli with a seared NY strip on the side. Both meals were exceptional with fresh ingredients. I was traveling with my small dashound and they did have me eat out on the covered patio with him. Love the beautiful views of the water while eating.

We had around 75 minutes for breakfast, for a group of 4, before needing to head out for the day. We were greeted and seated quickly. That’s when it went down hill. 15 minutes later the waiter came to ask what we wanted to drink. We ordered coffee, water, and food. He had coffee with him so we got that. 10 minutes later he came back with water. 45 minutes later still no food. We spoke to the manager, he checked and the kitchen hadn’t started the order. We ended up needing to leave without breakfast. The food may be good, not sure.
This was on Labor Day and they were fairly busy. Most likely understaffed. It was most likely good food. I would not recommend stopping if you have time constraints.

We are here twice in a row, last dinner and this morning’s breakfast. Last night’s dinner was a nightmare with horrendous service. This morning’s breakfast is way better. This is a decent restaurant——your experience is largely based on how good or bad the service is.

The WORST!!! Fish and chips was burnt. French fries was soggy. Coke was flat. My wife had the pasta and it was overcooked. At the end, the waiter asked my wife if she wanted to take her meal to go, and I literally laughed out loud. Dirt would have tasted better.

Cannot comment on atmosphere or service, but we ordered food to go (take back to room) and it was terrible. Very skimpy portions, as if I ordered off the kids menu, and very bland. Much better choices elsewhere. Just thought I would try the hotel option during our stay.

Not good which is typical to hotel food. We had no other option cause there’s no delivery in this area. The pizza was okay but the dough is definitely not homemade or fresh. The lobster roll was disgustingly mushy and wet and all i can taste was the lettuce, do not get it it’s not worth what you will pay.

Called many times, if they pick up they will put you on hold and never return to the phone. Defeats the purpose of being at a hotel that says they offer in room dining. This is a huge let down considering no restaurants in the area deliver.
